TGIS. Which, as usual, is more meaningful than TGIF. Though I suppose maybe I don't have the same opinion at 5:00 on Friday, but who knows. In any event, the day stretches before me, even though the plan is to spend a big chunk of it at work.
Woke up at what may be becoming a standard 4:15, despite going to bed very very late for this stretch, after 11:00. I wasn't too sleepy and after a stretch in the recliner, not dozing, I managed to work up enough motivation to push myself out the door. Good start, let's keep going.
Again didn't pay a price for bad evening eating, which is nice. Today's eating forecast isn't very promising, way too many carbs on the schedule. Oh well. Let's get to work.
Breakfast: Coffee, half batch of lazy bagels w veggie cream cheese
Really ought to be my last batch, since I used up the last of my current yogurt ... but I bought another one at the store. So it may not be. Dummy. Also I forgot to mix in the seasoning so I had to go old school with the egg wash. Looks prettier, that's for sure, but still seems like a waste of an egg.
Lunch: Super Rotel dip with Donkey tortilla chips, american cheese
A most cheesy lunch, decided to flip with the dinner plans. Ate a ton. Sausage, refried beans, cream cheese, Meijer Rotel equivalent, jalapenos, shredded sharp cheddar. Very good, even if I had to use refried because I didn't have the pintos I thought I had. Cleaned up the American from the week too.
Dinner: Lentils, toast, home shake
All good. I had so much lunch that I was well sated all afternoon.
Exercise: Walk, 1.8 miles (4175 steps according to the phone), 44 minutes. Standard loop. Glacial pace as my knees weren't super pleased. I may need to get out and wear the braces for a while. But I chugged along, slowly, and made it through without incident. Probably no walk tomorrow due to the forecast but maybe I'll get lucky.
