Well, day one was successful. It was also frustrating.
The eating was better. I was not hungry. No notable cravings. No soda. By evening I was already feeling better physically, it's amazing what a single day can do when you are in this kind of bad shape. All good things. I knocked several things off my to do list, quite a bit more than I usually get done in the evening.
The frustration, once again, was around sleep. I had plans to go to bed early. I thought I would need to go to bed early given the fatigue earlier in the day and bad sleep the night before. Instead, I did not get any kind of after dinner crash and as the hours wound on I just was not sleepy. Oh I fought it at the very end, but once it got past midnight I was able to shut down. And when I woke up at six I was predictably not completely rested. It's been okay once I got going but sheesh. I can't get enough sleep and even when I take the time to try I can't sleep. I get six hours and I guess it has to be enough.
So, anyway, the scale was down nicely, seems like a little water release is underway though nothing too extreme. On with day two.
Breakfast: Sausage wrap, coffee
Same as yesterday, except with ultra thin cheddar instead of pepper jack.
Lunch: Bunless double cheeseburger w avo oil mayo and olives
Again. Even better than yesterday. A bit less mayo, new package of patties, otherwise the same.
Dinner: Chef salad w ranch, 12 oz Miller Lite, Planters dry roasted lightly salted peanuts.
Not sure there is a good Tuesday night solution. This was one of the better salads I've had, but still, seed oil dressing and my stomach wasn't terribly thrilled. Stopped and picked up some peanuts to settle things down.
Exercise: 9 holes with cart, some extra walking. It was a very nice evening. I would say I felt pretty good about 2/3 or 3/4 of the time and absolutely awful - weak, tired, just bad - the rest.
