Pleasant Reversals

Not filled with pep.  Bolted awake at 4:30 with a toe-curling foot cramp.  Ow.  Cleared that, then did the usual attempt to get back to sleep without all that much success.  Maybe got another hour.  Maybe.

Morning chores are not off to a good start.  I had better get cracking.

Coming back to this just before bedtime:  Things turned around.  I managed to blitz through the making of an express potato salad.  Got my presents sorted.  Got to golf on time.  And I ended feeling the best I've felt on a course in weeks.  No fatigue, no power outages.  I still got out of breath if I went too fast, especially uphill, but I bounced back very quickly.  Heart rate too.  Did lots of extra walking.  It's as close to normal as I have felt in a while and it was VERY encouraging.  Let's see how I do tomorrow. 

Breakfast:  McD sausage mcmuffin, burrito, hash brown, coffee, WM maple donuts

As I feared, the breakfast places were packed.  I should have just eaten at home, but I had to go out for a Father's Day card and gift.  The donuts were insanely sweet, I have no idea how anyone could eat those on a regular basis.

Lunch:  None.  I had a few peanut M&Ms at the golf course, their food selection was lacking so I split a small package.

Dinner:  Cheeseburger, brat, potato salad, a little green salad, strawberry shortcake w ice cream





Ugh, ate too much.  I would have been fine if I had skipped the burger. 

Exercise:  18 holes with cart.  As mentioned above, much extra walking.
