Retaining Ponds

File it under things that are only interesting to me I guess.  I consumed a lot of liquid last night.  Several big glasses of water, a beer, a Coke.  I had water and a Powerade Zero on the golf course.  And yet much, much less liquid than usual departed in the normal fashion.  I barely even had to go when I woke up - first at 3:45 with a cramp and then at 6:45.  Very clearly retaining water.

And so I was prepared for a multi-pound increase on the scale.  Instead, it was down.  Go figure.  There was some sweating involved but not that much.

This is not a complaint.

Anyway, let's Monday.  It's going to be a very hot week.  It was already 77F in my house when I went to bed last night, we'll see how much hotter it gets.  It was actually fine hanging out in the recliner with the fans running, but any activity meant getting soaked. I have canceled all plans to cook anything this week (though I will use the toaster) and it's going to be a lot of sandwiches.

Breakfast:  Cheese sandwich, coffee

 


There's one example.  No sausage, don't want to use the stove. 

Lunch:  Turkey sandwich, yogurt

 

And another.  No cooking.

Dinner:  2x mexican style tacos, avocado, leftover strawberry shortcake

 

And hooray for taco monday.  I considered skipping it knowing I had a big bowl of shortcake, but went for both.  

Also:  Boulder Creek avo oil salt and vinegar chips.  Peanut M&Ms.  Ate too much tonight. 

Exercise:  Nope.  Unless you count sweating as exercise.
