No idea how I was going to feel this morning after a good day yesterday. It's early, but so far so good. Slept okay, no issues other than a minor foot cramp in the 5:00 hour. Slept up to the alarm and then snoozed as I was not ready to get up. I kinda doubt that I'll ever get on a truly regular sleep schedule - leaving aside the random life events that throw it off, there is so much variability in the quality of sleep I get.
Scale down, which was nice and not expected since I overate at dinner. It feels like I have made small progress on fixing portion sizes and not overeating as often but there is still much to do.
Breakfast: Cheese sandwich, coffee
Was very late so went with fast. Bought a loaf of bread this week, so there will be sandwiches.
Lunch: Turkey sandwich, leftover potato salad
I did not expect to end up with the leftover potato salad but it happened.
Dinner: 2x mexican tacos, guacamole
Dependable, though they were out of avocado. Had a guac cup at home. Cut to 2 tacos and it was enough this time.
Also a home rootbeer float for the capper - a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a 7.5 oz mini can of root beer.
I got so depressed reading ice cream cartons when I got groceries on Saturday. So many effing ingredients. Local dairy, you call it Grandpa's ice cream? Grandpa didn't use ****ing locust bean gum, guar gum and carageenan you ****ing clowns. Ended up with Hudsonville which isn't exactly clean, containing mono and diglycerides, cellulose gum and guar gum. Even Tillamook isn't clean. Looks like Turkey Hill might offer a suitable choice, going to check that out when I hit Meijer next.
Exercise: Nope. Not going to push hard today, but I am hoping to be active around the house tonight since I did not get through all my weekend chores.
