When you are this fat, scale up days are so disappointing, especially when you don't feel like you did anything egregious. Up almost two pounds today after three flat days.
Let's break down the possibilities.
Possibility one: Excess calorie consumption. Yeah, no. I'm not doing the calculation but there is little chance that I took in much more than 2,500.
Two, excess carbs: I was definitely higher than I would like but not crazy high. Nothing that's going to result in a big gain, which would be water retention. Getting up at 4:00 to deal with that suggests not likely. But it could be. I may just not be able to eat slop bowls even if I minimize the starch. Next time I go maybe I'll mess around with the nutrition info and really dial in the right combo.
Three, excess salt: Again, water retention. I suppose it's possible and we'll see today, but again, feels less likely. Seems like I had a gain the last time I had an unwich - processed meats.
Four, system backup. While true, should only be fractions of a pound, doesn't feel significant.
Five, random bloody chance. Probably it. I hate it here.
Anyway, while I had hopes of going to sleep earlier again it did not happen. Slightly dozy after dinner, but not enough to sleep (thankfully, given that I had not gotten ready for bed), then not at all until after midnight. Ended up with six plus hours as usual.
Breakfast: Meijer sausage patty, 2 slices pepper jack, coffee
Wrap without wrap. Since I was going to have to eat at home I decided to skip the wrap and not use up a pan. Have a few things to catch up on around the house.
Lunch: Italian beef sandwich
Other than the bread, perfectly fine.
Dinner: Pepperoni bacon pizza, 12 oz Yuengling
A meltdown, but at least a quality, tasty one.
Exercise: Nope. Another factor. Need to kick it into gear. Last night wasn't happening due to thunderstorms and tonight looks like the same.
