My body wanted desperately to go to bed about 8:30 last night. By 9:30 it was very unhappy. But I let my mind, in the form of the largely pointless desire to watch football on TV, overrule it. I didn't end up going to bed until almost 11:00. And I paid for it. Woke up at 4:30 again, yikes. Felt awful Went back to sleep, woke up at 6:00. NOPE. Moved to the recliner and finally made myself get up when it was almost 9:00. Awful. Horrible. No good.
I do not know if I would have been able to walk this morning regardless, I was pretty fatigued yesterday evening. But getting up on less than six hours sleep and walking the day after my longest walk since the surgery? No chance. We'll see if I can work in a little exercise at some point today -- now that it's 10:00 and I'm cleaned up and had a cup of coffee I feel a little better.
Was pleasantly surprised to see a small drop on the scale this morning, despite the pizza, the dessert, the massive taco salad and the lazy bagels. I did cycle through a lot of water. Anyway, good thing.
Breakfast: Leftover deluxe pizza, meijer cinnamon rolls, coffee
Friday night's leftovers. Reheated nicely. I could add a couple laps around the grocery store to yesterday's exercise total, but the downside was I bought a couple items of junk. At least once I clean these up I'm out. Hopefully I can stay that way.
Lunch: Chipotle barbacoa bowl
Tasty as usual. Timing was wonky, I would have preferred to eat later, but sometimes geography dictates timing. I could solve that, of course, by eating at home. Which would also avoid a bunch of seed oil.
Dinner: Brat MR, chips, salad, corn on the cob w butter, vanilla ice cream w choc sauce
Sunday dinner.
Also: 2x Big Mac, Mchix
Exercise: Nope. Once again did some shopping (thankfully I didn't buy any junk) and got in some walking that way, but it doesn't really count. If I can not overeat tonight and get good sleep, I have hopes of starting the week off right.
