... it was not on the scale, lol. I deserved every bit of the spike. Okay. I don't think I'm going to drop this weekend but I did buy stuff to have a good week eating wise starting Monday.
Anyway, TGIS. I managed to get myself out the door a little after 6:30 and took my longest walk yet since the surgery. Baby steps! It didn't feel bad. Sure, it wasn't some huge distance, but at least a couple miles. Let's back it up tomorrow.
Breakfast: Lazy bagels with Tillamook very veggie cream cheese, coffee
Once again excellent.
Later -- stale donuts and a glass of whole milk. Okay, that's a wrap for donuts.
Lunch: Taco salad, al pastor
FAT salad. Heavy on the non-salad stuff.
Dinner: Home pizza w pepperoni, Tillamook mint chip ice cream
Pretty basic pizza but it turned out quite good, crispy, chewy, tasty. I should have taken a picture of the underside, it was perfect.
Exercise: Walk, 47 minutes. App said it was about 4,500 steps, so I'll guess a couple miles. If I can find a suitable app that isn't annoying maybe I can track distance too. Anyway, it was a perfect morning for it, low 50s, no humidity, not too busy since it's Saturday. Feels good man.
Edit: Downloaded Pedometer++ app, it says that it was 1.5 miles. Checked another app, same thing, They clearly pull the same data from Apple Health. A little disappointed -- 30 minute miles is SLOW. I looked it up and my historical usual pace of 20 minute miles is average for my age, maybe just a hair slow. I know I didn't push hard at all since I didn't know how I'd react to the distance, but still, I didn't think I was going THAT slow.
