Christmas Eve day. A day for family, tradition and lots of eating. We do our big gathering today, tomorrow will be much more low key. And it will involve more eating, lol.
Pleased to have had no issues with the wine, other than I ate too many carbs to soak some of the alcohol up. Paid a predictable price on the scale. So it goes. But no hangover, headache, cramps or anything else, so maybe it is sufficiently clean. I'll buy a bottle of red on Friday and try that ... with something else new! I always look at the prime rib roasts when they're on sale around Christmas, but I have never purchased one. This morning, I did. So on Saturday I'm going to roast a prime rib and have that for a few days.
Well, better get going. Bread going in the oven, gifts to wrap, appetizers to make. Will be a busy but fun day.
Breakfast: Buttermilk pancakes with butter and maple syrup, CF black pepper garlic bacon, orange juice, coffee
Yup, a Saturday breakfast on Tuesday.
Snack - ranch party mix
Lunch: All of the food. Sausage toasts, bacon crackers, cheese and crackers, celery with a bit of ranch, a couple chocolates, rum balls, you name it. A couple glasses of lemonade.
You have to love holiday parties.
Dinner: Sirloin, cheese fondue with bread cubes, 24 oz Coors Light, a glass of Riesling, peanut butter pie
Ate about 10:00, since everyone ate so much at lunch.
Exercise: Nope.
