The quest to figure out sleep continues. For once, a relatively successful night. I went to bed early, was asleep by 9:30. Woke up at 4:00 -- six and a half to seven hours seems to be as long as I can go -- and felt better than average. Was up in the recliner until about 5:30, when I went back to sleep until around 7:15. So I figure I got about eight hours of sleep, more or less, in ten hours of downtime. It's hard to give up that much time, but it seems to be necessary. I feel notably better today. Working theory is the second sleep was due to having an ongoing deficit, and that if I could just go to bed consistently I'd eventually be able to consistently get up after seven hours and feel okay.
I also have to get going on the exercise, but that's been true for a while. The scale moved back to where it was on Sunday morning so at least that's good.
Breakfast: 2 CF sausage patties, orange juice, coffee
May need to give up the OJ after the new year, since a single 11.5 oz bottle (which lasts me all week) has a full day's worth of carbs if I'm serious about losing weight.
Lunch: 3 CF eggs scrambled, 2 CF sausage patties, guac, home bread toasted w butter and grape jam
Tasty. The jam is decent, it's not real sweet which is different. It's growing on me.
Dinner: Home tacos w cheddar, sour cream and jalapenos, 12 oz All Day IPA
WOW. That was really, really good. Maybe the best home tacos I've had. First time going with Siete taco seasoning (spicy). Tillamook extra sharp. My favorite brand of tortillas, sour cream and jarred jalapenos, plus some hot sauce. Out. Stand. Ing.
Plus a bowl of popcorn, the usual, and a glass of chocolate milk.
Exercise: Nope.
