Day One
And away we go. Not necessarily the ideal start -- I got sucked into the college football playoff games and stayed up way, way too late. Thank you very little NCAA for the late night. Fell asleep in the recliner before the second game was even over.
But, anyway, I survived on not enough sleep. So far anyway. Hoping that tonight I can work on the shift toward a more ideal schedule, since I need that in order to hit my exercise and other goals.
Although I'm sure it was not a good thing for my numbers I am glad that I cleaned up and got rid of all the miscellaneous junk food, it has made not eating that stuff easy so far. Now, to just not buy any more! Had an appalingly high scale number as a direct result -- if there were ever a contest that involved gaining weight rapidly I'd be a top seed -- but I think a decent amount of it is just water and should go relatively quickly.
Speaking of which, let's GO.
Breakfast: 4 strips Frederik's by Meijer center cut bacon (0), 4 oz spicy low sodium V-8 (4), coffee (0)
Last of the store bacon. Need to cook up some CF sausage tonight.
Lunch: Soup (10), Bubbies kosher dill pickle (1)
Excellent soup. I totalled up the carbs per batch the other day, so I should be accurate (or at least very close). No idea how they get away with saying 0 calories and 0 carbs per half pickle, so I'll bump it up to at least 1.
Dinner: 3 CF eggs scrambled (2) with jack cheese (0), hatch chiles (1), leftover spiral ham (2) and guac (2), 12 oz Miller Lite (3), 2 CF sausage patties (0)
Scramble turned out really good. Will be repeated tomorrow with the rest of the leftover ham.
Cooked up the sausage and had a couple to bump up the protein total. A bit late to be eating, but should digest well and it's not anything huge.
Exercise: Nope. Short on sleep. Didn't feel great this morning, but if I'd had a couple more hours I would have liked my chances of kicking myself out the door. Not going to stress yet, I'm expecting an adjustment period (while hoping to avoid a major case of the keto flu).
Day totals: $0.00 spent, 25g carb. Success.
