Day Sixteen
I know it's cheesy but I never get tired of saying hey, another nice drop on the scale. Every day I tell myself that it's not going to continue indefinitely. I know that's true. But I'm enjoying it for as long as it lasts. It is SUPER motivating right now.
Also cheesy, I feel like I've been eating too much cheese, or at least I'm right on the edge. Today will be two slices (1.6oz) plus parm, plus probably a couple more oz with dinner. Something to watch. But again, I'll ride this as long as it's working! I had another good BP number this morning too. Very pleased.
Breakfast: CF hickory bacon (0), V-8 (4), coffee (0)
Again. V-8 is getting low, which is fine. Last of the bacon.
Lunch: 3 eggs (2) poached in leftover pasta sauce (7), 1 slice cojack (1), 1 slice provolone (1)
Last of this jar of sauce. It's on sale this week so another jar will be purchased and we'll go around again. Very tasty.
Dinner: Barbacoa (0) bowl w mexicheese (2), guac (4) and sour cream (1), 12 oz Miller Lite (3), SF raspberry jello (0)
New batch of barbacoa is good. My only gripe is that I never get it hot enough, once I add the cold stuff it's no longer more than a little warm. Intentionally didn't open a salsa but couldn't figure out what I forgot until after I was done ... jalapenos! I did also think about some peppers and onions, if I hadn't had V-8 this morning I probably would have done some.
Exercise: Nope. Irked. Went to bed early, was almost asleep when the phone buzzed. Things happened. I still woke up before 5:00 but did not get going. Dozed some, did not kick myself out the door. Might do some shoveling later, we'll see. I did note a decided lack of pep when I climbed the stairs to leave this morning, not sure what was up with that.
Day totals: $ 19.34 spent, 25 g carbs, success
Hit Walmart for other stuff, grabbed some Cabot cheese, avocados, lotsa guac and pork rinds.
