Day Nine
Bah. It was going to happen eventually. A very slight tick up on the scale this morning. By the smallest amount my scale reports. A little annoying, since I hit my target yesterday, but also understandable. You've got multiple factors - I think between the lunch meat and pickle I got too much salt. I didn't sleep great or enough. Didn't get any exercise. And I've gotten rid of so much water it would not be a surprise to hold onto a bit. I was definitely puffy this morning.
But hopefully it will all go away, along with a lot of underlying fat.
Breakfast: CF sausage patties (0), coffee (0)
I am going to continue to list this as 0, though I read the label yesterday when I opened the package to cook them up and the ingredient list does include, down toward the end, turbinado sugar. So it's not a true zero, but given that (plus the fact that there isn't even a hit of sweetness to my taste) I'm not going to worry about it.
Lunch: Soup (10), pickle (1)
Good as always.
Dinner: Barbacoa bowl (10), 12 oz Miller Lite (3)
Out of guac so I added a small avocado. Would count an extra carb, but I discarded a decent portion. Otherwise, the same. I have something new to try for tomorrow night.
Exercise: Nope. As mentioned, didn't sleep well. Still working on getting that schedule fixed. I did get in a lot of work-related walking, a couple thousand steps anyway, but I'm not counting it unless I hit a much higher number.
Went to Walmart after work, while I was there I picked up a couple cans of salsa, one of chipotles in adobo, a chunk of Cabot cheddar and a bag of pork rinds. All very reasonably priced.
Totals: $8.55 spent, 24 g carbs, success
