Further Liquidation

Day Thirteen

I have to say, I was NOT expecting a big drop on the scale.  Sure, I thought there might be some good news correcting yesterday's tiny blip up, but nothing major.  Instead, my body decided to dump some more water and boom, biggest drop since about day 3.  Not really sure why -- there wasn't anything special about yesterday - I ate quite a bit and was at the limit for carbs.  Wasn't any more active than your normal Saturday.  No dedicated exercise.

But, whatever.  I'm happy.  That much closer to my goals.  Less than five pounds above where I was at the end of August.  Only fractionally more than I was before surgery.  About fifteen to go to get back to the start of 2023.  If I can keep this roll going -- it's been pretty easy so far -- and add back the exercise I like my chances to get there relatively soon.

Lots to do today, will be interested to see how much more snow we receieved overnight.  It's definitely going to be wintry out there.

Breakfast:  3 eggs sunnyside up (2), 2 strips CF hickory bacon (0), coffee (0)

I dunno why but they seem to cut their bacon at 11 strips per pound, so I don't quite get four servings of three strips each.   Anyway, absolutely nailed this.  10/10.  So good.  Covered the eggs early and I got the perfect medium.

Lunch:  Leftover cheesesteak bowl (11), SF lime jello (0)

This time I melted the cheese.  Tasty, but imperfect.

Dinner:   American goulash with parmesan, extra beefy (25?), salad no dressing (2), 12 oz Miller Lite (3)

Very much just an estimate on the goulash.  I didn't have much, but the spaghetti has 37g per cup, so it's very carby.  I supplemented with extra ground beef, but I was still hungry when I got home, so:

Also, several ounces of Cabot extra sharp cheddar cheese (1)

Tasty.

Exercise:  Nope.  Wintry.  Did shovel for a bit, twice, and got a workout cleaning off my car at least.

Day totals:  $0.00 spent,   ~44g carbs, semi-success

79.2
