New Things Deferred

The first day of a new year.  Except I have this somewhat odd but very strict rule, the new year doesn't really begin until January 2.  I never try to change anything on January 1, it just never works.  So any new things are put off at least one day.  No different this year.  I do have an interesting and possibly fun challenge lined up for January, but more on that later.  

It would be nice to be coming in on a positive note, but I am most definitely not.  Gained a lot of weight in December, up for the year, and my physical condition is about as bad as it has ever been.  Plenty to work on.  Just not today. 

For now I'm off to a slow start, not planning on doing much today other than some much needed picking up.  If I get ambitious I laid in some cleaning supplies, but we'll see how it goes.

Breakfast:  Lazy bagels w chive and onion cream cheese, coffee

 


Went with regular flour today.   Will probably work on the bag of cheese popcorn later.

Lunch:  5 Guys little cheeseburger, little fries w ketchup

 


Later some chips and onion dip, Dr. Pepper 

Dinner:  Ham, scalloped potatoes, corn, rolls w butter, 12 oz Miller Lite, pecan pie w ice cream

The traditional NYD meal.  Ugh.  It's not agreeing with me. 

Exercise:  Nope.  One more lazy day.
