TGIS.  I didn't quite get the full weekend morning experience.  Woke up at 5:45 with the beginnings of a mild foot cramp, then struggled to get back to sleep.  Was certainly tired.  Had to drag myself into the shower about 8:00.  It's just impossible to switch off my brain these days, mostly work-related.  I'll be spending a lot of time there this weekend trying to get more organized.

Anyway, I was pleased to see another drop on the scale and the BP numbers were a bit better.  Still a shade high, but improving.  Need exercise.  Speaking of which, stairs were good this morning, I would say about 75% normal, which is huge.  Big improvement from being completely unable to use my left leg at all.

Have pretty much decided that I will allow myself to "buy" milk using returnables.  I am wondering if I might have enough to cover a dozen eggs too, since I have fewer than I thought and my menu plan this week would wipe out most of them.  To be determined. 

Breakfast:  2 Meijer sausage patties, orange juice, coffee

 


Lots of debating as to what to eat since I had <15 minutes.  Ended on this, worked out good.  Cacao butter in coffee x1

Lunch:  1/3 lb leftover ovencheeseburger w mustard, guacamole, Meijer hot kosher dill pickles

 


Very tasty.  I need to eat more ovenburgers.  Quick, easy, enjoyable.

Dinner:  Trader Joe's beef birria, cava

 


I was going to make the full birria taco thing, but since I didn't get home until 6:30 I skipped it and just ate the meat and broth.  It was good.  The cava was in the fridge annoying me so I decided it needed to go. 

 


 And the capper, last of the windmill cookies.  And whole milk.

Exercise:  Nope.  I think today was community open house day at the Y so not a good day to restart there, plus it's snowing and miserable outside so no outdoors walk.
