Another postcard perfect day, just shy of 80 degrees, no humidity, light breeze, mostly sunny. Glorious. And so good that it's happening over the weekend so I can get some Vitamin D.
A nice drop on the scale after not eating much yesterday. Probably won't get another one tomorrow, having consumed way too many carbs today.
Breakfast: 2 eggs over medium, hash browns, 3 strips bacon, raisin toast w homemade strawberry jam, coffee
Standard pre-golf breakfast out, fewer hash browns than usual but still all good. For some reason they gave me a side of ketchup, which I did not eat.
Lunch: 12 oz Miller Lite after golf
Dinner: Smoked meatloaf, mashed potatoes with a little mushroom gravy, dinner roll with a lot of butter
Audible. I was going to go to Qdoba but their menu board said they didn't have brisket so I walked. Went to a local BBQ place, this is the second time I've been there. It's pretty decent, though microwaves feature too strongly into the preparation. I didn't eat the side of BBQ sauce and ate very little of the gravy (it was fine, I just flipped the container upside down onto a plate and the gravy ended up on the bottom and pooling away). Put the end of a stick of butter on the roll, was at least a tablespoon. No regrets.
Exercise: 18 holes with cart. 11.5k steps so far and I'm still going to the grocery store yet tonight.
