I swear I will never understand the human body. Yesterday wasn't an epic day on the diet front. I ate way too many carbs. I was not cheated on portions. I had a couple drinks (note to self, add an Odd Side moscow mule hard seltzer). I got in decent exercise, hitting 15k steps after a tour of the grocery store, but it wasn't strenuous. Just walking. Not much sweating since it wasn't notably hot or humid.
And yet the scale dropped again. I didn't lose notable amounts of liquid, via solid waste or by persperation. But it happened anyway. Unless my scale is broken.
But I don't think it's the scale. My clothes are getting looser. The pants two sizes down from the max that I pulled on this morning are loose, too loose to wear without a belt or suspenders.
The visual doesn't quite match the scale, at least in my mind. I expect my abdomen to be less swollen. That's still very oversized. Again, less than it was, but it's still yuge. Which makes sense, I'm very very very fat. But the perspective just seems off. Hopefully with time those things will converge and someday I can be a normal sized human.
Oh well, I am very thrilled to see the drop and feel leaner.
Breakfast: Coffee
Slept in just a little, lazed about a bit. Earlier than usual golf today so will be having brunch followed by dinner. Two meals a day really is getting to feel quite right and it makes for relatively effortless fasting periods.
Lunch: 3 CF eggs scrambled w butter, jalapenos and a little Cabot extra sharp cheddar, 2 sausage patties, 2 slices Pepperidge Farm cinnamon raisin swirl bread w generous butter, Meijer spicy vegetable juice
Last of my eggs from the farm, had three left in the dozen so I had the extra. Had some homemade hot sauce on the eggs. Supply of that is starting to get low, will have to make another batch in a week or two.
Dinner: Marinated sirloin, Idahoan 4 cheese potatoes with added butter, green beans, 16 oz Mich Ultra, 2x Halo Top pineapple bars
Not a big fan of the pineapple bars, I'll stick to the lime. After I eat the rest of the box obv.
Also had a peach mango Body Armor Lyte during golf.
Exercise: 18 holes with cart. I have to go check the pedometer but it should be the usual 10-11k steps.
