Happy Juneteenth. It is not recognized as a day-off holiday around here (unless you work for the federal government) but so far it's been quiet which is nice. I have grand plans.
One of those plans is to start cutting spending, especially on food. I've been catching up on my receipts and I've been spending WAY too much, especially on eating out. I don't mind spending a little money on real food, but I've been binging on fast food and junk and it needs to stop.
Ideally I would spend zero dollars more days than not. There will be spending - I will continue to buy breakfasts on Saturdays, for example. I'm okay with a trip to the grocery store if it's not to just pick up some junk food. But the really wasteful (and fattening) stuff needs to stop.
Speaking of things that need to stop, well, how about everything. Let's get on track.
Breakfast: Sourdough bread and butter, coffee
I think I like the french bread better.
Lunch: Sandwich, NR roast beef and pepper jack on sourdough
Okay.
Dinner: Pizza hut thin pep beef ham, breadsticks, Pepsi
Not zero dollars.
