It is unusual to say the least but for once I am not the least bit unhappy about not walking today. Yesterday was a very, very long day. I got in a long walk, I spent hours at the office, I did a variety of necessary chores. I was awake from 3:45 am until 10:30 pm. Recovery was needed. I slept only so-so, not great, not horribly. Knees and ankles were grumbly. So it was an easy call. Now I just need to not repeat over and over until it's next weekend and I haven't done anything.
Also on the good side, but not without caveat, is that I successfully restricted my eating window. I wasn't hungry this morning so my planned non-breakfast was no problem. I was reasonably hungry come lunchtime. I'll finish eating by 7:00 and that'll be that. I will say that I was disappointed - I'm an idiot and did not remember that the BBQ place I was going to hit for lunch is closed on Mondays until I was a block away. Doh. If I can limit eating to between 11 am and 7 pm during the week I'll be pleased.
Breakfast: Coffee
Yup.
Lunch: Chipotle barbacoa bowl, 2x McDouble
Audibled to Chipotle, got my usual except no peppers since I didn't want to wait for them. Hit McD later on the way back to work, this is a fine example of why I need to do *something* to trick the satiety signal. I got it in my head while I was eating lunch that the bowl wasn't going to be enough. A half hour later, it was enough, but my idiot self still followed through on the McD stop. Stupid!
I really need to give up on eating out most places. The food at Chipotle/Qdoba is usually fine, but the dining room cleanliness is usually a D- at best. And even the line is questionable. Fast food quality is so frequently terrible. I guess there are some things that are dependably good, like Egg McMuffins, but most of it is so hit or miss. Local places, if you pick them right, seem to have better quality control.
Dinner: 2x mexican 2x american tacos, 12 oz Miller Lite, Tillamook dark cherry ice cream
Standard fare.
Exercise: Nope. And as mentioned, I'm okay with it.
