I could add some comments on a tiny bit of perspective gained yesterday but it's not really relevant to what I post about here. I suppose my fluctuating mental health is at least slightly related but it's not that interesting. I'm still experiencing some pretty significant swings and will be quite glad when holiday season is completely over.
On the food front, I made a batch of vegetable soup last night so I'll be eating some of that over the next few days. I need to remember to freeze a couple jars and get in the habit of pulling them out.
Edit: I'm getting really tired of this. I need to pull myself out.
Breakfast: Bowl of leftover vegetable soup, coffee
I blanked on taking a picture, so mad about that (not that it would be especially exciting) - I even had the phone handy I just plain forgot. Also, I should probably try and figure out nutrition, this bowl had ~ 1/4 lb CF ground beef, most of a carrot, 1/4 of a medium onion, a couple stalks of celery and 1/2 of a russet potato, plus parsley and seasoning. And 3/4 T of butter for cooking the vegetables.
Lunch: 2 jumbo CF eggs fried in a bit of real lard, 3 strips CF cajun bacon

Yeah, I broke a yolk. Otherwise, perfect. |
Exercise: A nice 3.25 mile walk, just two minutes over an hour. Really a perfect loop, I might have to do that one again (I haven't been repeating anything). I love walking through downtown during the winter when the lights are on and it's peaceful - that's the best part of walking super early. I really want to move up the time a bit more yet so that I'm out between 5:00 and 6:00. Oh, and I managed 12 girl pushups and 12 situps. Form is still lousy but they're coming slightly easier. (btw I refer to them as "girl" pushups because it amuses me, not to diminish the physical ability of women. It's 100% LOL @ me).
