June Results and July Goals!

Here were the June goals:

Goals for June:
1.  Get back on track.  A cheat (read:  Pizza) day or two a month is not a big deal.  Two weeks in a row is.  Stop it.
2.  Lose 15 pounds.  By focusing again this should be attainable.  I was thinking about cutting this to 10 pounds but I bet I have some lovely water weight to flush again and it will go if I'm just better about things.
3.  15 days of meaningful exercise.  Should not be too hard, since I almost get there with golf alone.
4.  Make progress on the work front.  I'm trying to change from a high volume model to a lower volume but higher collection model, if I can pull it off (and get enough business) it will greatly improve my quality of life.  Very early in the process but I'm enthused.
5.  Insert food expenses into posts.  Going to try this again from June 1.

Results:

1.  FAIL.  It took until almost the end of the month to get my head back on straight, and even now it's tenuous.  I will probably eat more flour than I should.   If I can just avoid the pizza binges it'll be OK.

2.  FAIL (I guess).  I ended up losing 10 pounds.  Considering all the screwups, this is fairly miraculous.

3.  PASS.  Golf season + good weather means I blew this one away.  I'd be better off walking more but hey, I don't like sweating that much.

4.  FAIL.  Slow going.

5.  FAIL.  I keep forgetting to do this.

Moving on to July, let's renew some goals:

1.  Lose 15 pounds.  If I believe the data in myfitnesspal.com (which I've started using lately, it's kinda fun), I'm still fat enough that I burn a ton of calories when I do any kind of meaningful exercise, including golf.  That plus the fact that I don't eat more than 2400 calories when I'm not eating entire takeout pizzas means that I should still lose fast for a while.  I could trim a beer or two off the weekly sheet as well.

2.  Keep exercising at least 15 days.  Shouldn't be a problem while golf season lasts, although it will get harder when the days get shorter.

3.  New goal, make progress on the house and yard.  I'd like to list my house at some point to see if I can find a buyer, got a long ways to go before that can happen.

4.  Be happier.  In some way.  How's that for ambiguous?
