I always wonder if it is even possible to achieve consistency in sleep. Same time to bed, same time to rise, feel rested when I get up. Seems like I can accomplish one of the first two, at least for stretches of time, but getting all three is elusive. Especially the last one. I sure hope that when I'm leaner that I sleep more effectively.
Otherwise, I was really struck paging through the archives how little effort I have made this year. Lots of talk, very very little follow through. That's discouraging. As of this morning I am pretty much exactly where I started the year, weight-wise. I've been down some at times, but not all that much. I have to go back a ways for real success. Which I guess just goes to show you don't need a diet change, you need a lifestyle change.
Breakfast: 4 strips CF cherrywood bacon, a little OJ, coffee
Good stuff. This is some of the best OJ I've had, I generally am not a huge fan of it.
Lunch: Soup and mash
Again.
Dinner: 3 eggs scrambled, hash browns in EVOO, 2 Meijer sausage patties, guac, 12 oz All Day IPA
Not as good as yesterday. Much of it rests with the sausage, just not great. It may be that the package has been open too long in the freezer. Should probably just chuck the couple I have left. Also, annoyed that both the sausage and the hash browns have dextrose as ingredients. No damn reason for it.
Exercise: Nope. And this is frustrating.
