Nudged Right

Whew, Friday.  Glad, even though the weekend offers no respite right now.  Other than from the phone.  And a little more flexibility.  I do have a hard deadine on a project, but I've known that it's coming and have made some progress on it anyway.  And a million other things to do, alas.

I did manage to crash relatively early and woke up at 4:30, so that was good.  Managed to nudge my clock in the correct direction for once.  Feels good man.  App said almost no snoring, which ... I dunno.  I did avoid all diary except butter on the popcorn but I was still pretty full when I went to bed.  Did have something different with the corned beef dinner but don't think that should be too impactful.  Can't think of any other notable factors that would have produced a much better result than I've had recently.  /shrug.

Am definitely happy that my body seemed to tolerate the corned beef fine, since I have leftovers for tonight and probably a Rueben for lunch tomorrow.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup, toast and Fage 2% plain yogurt


Out of cottage cheese so I ate the yogurt I had on hand.  The store was out of the 5% kind when I bought it, can't say I noticed all that much of a difference.

Dinner:  Leftover corned beef with carrots and onion, sauerkraut, 12 oz All Day IPA, popcorn w butter


Carbon copy.  Once again tasty.  Didn't bother to take a photo of the popcorn, just see yesterday.

Exercise:  Walk, 1.8 miles, 37 minutes.  Nice morning for it, 40ish degrees and the rain + cold held off until later today.  Felt notably good the first third and walked much faster than usual.  A few minor aches and pains the second third.  Kinda hit the wall and the last third was pretty slow, at least until the last couple blocks.  Overall shaved a couple minutes from my usual time and I'm happy about that.
