New Crawlers

Monday, May 18, 2026

Here we go again.  Another week.  Off to a slow start due to poor sleep.  At least I am less fatigued so far.  That's encouraging.

Hoping to start some changes.  We'll see how that goes.  Slowly would be my guess.  Scale up today after way too many carbs and calories yesterday.

Was amused this morning to see view counts bump up on posts, welcome new web crawlers.

Breakfast:  Breakfast wrap, coffee

Trying something different.  This is an Ole 'zero net carb' tortilla, 3 strips of bacon, 2 slices of OF smoked cheddar and a little Pace cliantro lime sauce which I impulse bought because it had no seed oils.  Pretty tasty.  I will try with an Egglife wrap instead at some point but the grocery store I have been frequenting lately does not seem to carry them.

Satiety was very good.  Let's hope that repeats.

Lunch:  Home double cheeseburger, Meijer hot dill pickle chips

Frozen burger patties work pretty well other than being a lil messy.  This was two 1/4 lb patties, 2 slices of Sargento natural American, a little jalapeno mustard, buttered toasted bread.  Very tasty.  Plan is to really push to make lunch the main meal, ample protein.

I was very full after lunch and satiety again was excellent.

Dinner:  2 eggs over medium, 1 Meijer sausage patty, ~ 1 C hash browns in EVOO, 12 oz Miller Lite

A bowl 'o breakfast.  Tried to keep the portions in check, less of everything.  Can even scale down the hash browns further I think.  Also:  I'm going to need to come up with another plan, given that I won't want to heat my kitchen so much this summer.  Might have to do charcuterie lol.

And the capper, NSA lemon pudding.

Overall a decent day.  Too many carbs - bread plus hash browns plus milk - but a start is a start.

Exercise:  Nope.  Felt better today, thankfully, but no exercise.
