Huh. That was interesting. I crawled back in bed after being up for a while to warm up and maybe get some extra sleep. Which I did, and I had a particularly lucid dream in which I was most definitely actively participating. Tied up a number of current stressors. Way too realistic. Yikes. Maybe I should have just stayed up!
Anyway, it was nice to get rid of a bunch of water. Good drop despite having hash browns for lunch and dessert. Makes me optimistic that I can do this poverty diet thing.
Breakfast: Brownies, coffee
Very late breakfast. Didn't want to fix anything, so yeah, baked good.
Lunch: 3 eggs scrambled, hash browns in olive oil, fire roasted peppers and onion, 4 strips CF apple smoked bacon
The veg was a new addition, found a kind at Meijer that looked good and they worked wonderfully. Easy prep, just five minutes on the stovetop in a little olive oil.
Dinner: Chuck roast w/ LC gravy, carrots, a little mashed kohlrabi, 12 oz Mich Ultra, a little Nicks mint chip, home bread w butter later
The kohlrabi was an experiment, meh. It was okay. Won't make again. Was very pleased with the gravy, best I've done so far experimenting with thickening using xanthan gum.
Ate the heel of this week's loaf when I got home since I had to slice it. It's better when it has more time in the fridge, at least a week is ideal before baking.
Exercise: Nope. Not super active today either.
