Overly Porky

At some point yesterday I realized that my planned meals for the weekend were 100% pork (when it comes to meat).  Which is rather amusing since I often am 100% beef during the week.  Less amusing, perhaps, given that I was reading some stuff on why pork may be less ideal - at least conventionally raised pork that's probably being fed soy and other crap.  I need to step up and just source everything I can -- beef, pork and chicken -- from my local farmer who I trust to not do that.

Anyway, got rid of some morning and was a little leaner this morning.  Still haven't bounced all the way back from the latest ballooning (topical!) but it's coming.

Breakfast:  Toast, bacon, coffee


Yup.

Lunch:   Leftover egg enchilada bake, leftover sausage


Half of the leftovers of each, good thinking adding the leftover sausage because everything is better with enchilada sauce.  Oh, and I did look up the ingredients list for that and it wasn't as bad as feared.  Bad, yes, but not as awful as expected.  Still need to make my own.

Snack:  Peanuts.  Still working on that jar of Planters dry roasted.  Again, must not repurchase.

Dinner:   Busy day casserole, green beans, peaches, rolls with butter. 12 oz Miller Lite, mint chip ice cream w choc sauce, Popeye's spicy chicken



Doh.  Sundays.

Exercise:  Nope.  Slept until 8:00.  Had a couple of very crazy dreams after I moved from the bed to the recliner about 4:15.
