Whew, TGIS. Woke up in a good mood and that really hasn't changed, though the six hour Zoom seminar I spent most of the day sitting through tested that a bit. Oh well, it's done and on to the weekend stuff. Lots of chores to be done.
Was pleasantly surprised not to see a jump on the scale, though maybe I shouldn't have been given some serious waste disposal. Yeesh.
Had to push the grocery shopping to today. I had chuck roast or brisket on my list, want to make up a batch of barbacoa tomorrow in the slow cooker. Ended up buying a chunk of brisket but man was I envious -- the chunk I got was $9.00 a pound but they had whole briskets for $3.99 a pound. Unfortunately, the smallest one I saw was almost 18 pounds. If I had a lot of room in the freezer -- or, let's be honest, ANY room in the freezer -- plus a vacuum sealer I would have dropped the seventy bucks, brought one home and cut it up. Definitely going to make note of that for the future.
Breakfast: McD egg mcmuffin, BEC biscuit, hash brown, apple fritter, coffee
It was a McBreakfast. It was fine. Spendy though even with a coupon.
Lunch: 2x beef american tacos, 1x al pastor mexican taco
Yeah, it's not Monday. This was a lot more expensive. Tasty though.
Snack: Tortilla chips and salsa
Sigh. I know there are cleaner tortilla chips (beef tallow fried) on the net, I just haven't sucked it up and ordered them.
Dinner: Qdoba brisket bowl, 12 oz Miller Lite, CFA fries and frosted lemonade
Sheesh. Operations at the Q were a hot mess but my bowl was fine. Didn't really need the dessert.
Exercise: Nope.
