A better day today, thankfully. Got in a little early, picked up my office and things just flowed much better. I'm still impossibly behind but at least I felt much better about things.
Breakfast: Coffee
Yup.
Lunch: Brisket with a little hot bbq sauce, smoked mushrooms
I was out of town for work this morning and happened across this BBQ place. I was on my way to a different place but stopped here since it would save me a half hour of travel ... and BOY am I glad I did. The brisket was very tasty and the mushrooms exquisite. The mushrooms were a total impulse buy and wow were they delicious. I don't know what they did to them, some kind of marinade idk but they were so good. Will definitely eat there again.
Here is a photo of something I *didn't* eat: Brown butter rice krispie bites. Wanted. Resisted. And for once the resistance won.
I will try them at some point thought. I just know it. I love rice krispie treats.
Dinner: Chef salad w ranch, 12 oz Coors Light, mixed nuts
Pretty standard stuff.
Exercise: 9 holes with cart, a little walking
