So Close

It's almost the weekend.  TGIF and it's already half over.  Yay.  Too bad the forecast for tomorrow is pretty dismal.

Hopped on the scale this morning and after seeing the number wondered if I was remembering correctly that it tied my previous blog low.  After some quick research here at lunch, not quite.  But if I dropped another pound I'd be in uncharted territory.  Only one entry that I found that was lower ... but of course I wasn't quite as religious about weighing myself back then.  Still I'm confident that what I found was the low water mark.

We'll see how much damage is done this weekend.

It's interesting comparing things though.  I feel like I have a bit more definition in the face than I did back then, but my midsection is a bit puffier - I remember collarbones being more visible back then.  In terms of health, last time was clearly superior.  I could jog, I had more pep.  Between injuries, ten more years on the clock and other stuff I'm not too surprised.  I do wonder, though, if I cleaned up my diet further (i.e. buhbye carbs) whether I'd feel better than I do.  But for now it's nice to just be a little less fat.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup

Lunch:  Soup, toast, cheese and smoked ham


Out of cottage cheese

Dinner:  Barbacoa, TCD style mashed potatoes, 12 oz All Day IPA, mixed nuts, choc SF pudding w unsweet coconut



Pleased that the mashed potatoes froze just fine.  All good.

Exercise:  Nope.  Schedule way off.
