Excellence in Whooshing

Nice to see a good drop this morning.  Apparently eating less (and specifically less horribly) and getting some exercise is good for that sort of thing.  Let go of some additional water, too, despite the fact that I drank well over a gallon due to being outdoors all morning.

One more holiday weekend day, should be another good one.

Breakfast:  Meijer all butter croissant with a little butter, 4 strips Black Label thick cut bacon, coffee


Croissants were an impulse buy, located oddly near the beef aisle.  I didn't know the Meijer bakery even did croissants.   It was quite good, especially with extra butter.

Lunch:  Corned beef, swiss, hot mustard and butter on homemade spelt rye bread, dill pickle


Cut up and ate with a fork, not sure why I bothered.  New mustard was decent.   This would have been better toasted with kraut and thousand island.

Dinner:  Culvers mushroom and swiss burger.  Strawberries and Rebel vanilla ice cream




Kinda wanted a taco salad, but it was late already and a Culvers on the way home made a burger the easy choice.  Had dessert later.  Note to self, take the ice cream out and let it sit for a few minutes before scooping next time ... it was crumbly.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart.  Not that much extra walking.  Another toasty day.
