Non-Viral Spikes

Tuesday, July 7, 2020

A bit of a surprise to see a jump on the scale this morning, but one easily thought through even in the early morning hours.  I consumed a great deal of sodium yesterday and clearly didn't process as much water thru.  No exercise.  And I ate too much pizza.  So this is a blip.  Not at all concerned, especially since I felt noticeably better moving around this morning, much freer.  The aches and pains caused by eating sugar and seed oil are retreating.  I'm sure I'd feel even better if I cut back on the grains and work my way back to two meals a day/effective intermittent fasting.  But I'm not going to get too carried away after only a few days back on track!

Speaking of which, it might be time to call on the cleansing power of tacos!  Just kidding, though I did make and freeze some taco meat last night.  If it works well -- and it did last time -- I may decide to double the batch next time.  My freezer is starting to fill up again.

Breakfast:  Croissant with butter, 3 strips bacon, coffee

Same as yesterday.  Still good.  That was the last of this pound of bacon.

Lunch:  Ham and cheese sandwich, pickle spear, Fage vanilla TruBlend yogurt

Aside from the yogurt flavor, the same as yesterday.

Dinner:  Ground beef enchilada plate, 12 oz Miller Lite

About one more enchilada than I needed but quite good none the less.

Exercise:  9 holes with cart.  Didn't call for much extra walking, which was fine since it was 90-something out there.
