There has to be a name for the zone you get in when you can't quite get fully to sleep but you're dozing. I was in that zone from a long time this morning - woke up shortly before 4:00 and finally gave up about 7:30. I definitely got a little extra sleep but it never was for long nor was it deep or restful.
Anyway, predictable blowup on the scale after last evening's gross excesses. Time to fix that.
Breakfast: Coffee, chili lime sun chips
A junk food buy. Meh.
Lunch: Cheesesteak bowl
A random creation, turned out very tasty. Shaved steak, roasted peppers and onions, mushrooms, provolone. Ordinarily I would have melted the cheese in the skillet -- which would have been better, the provolone isn't super melty -- but I didn't. I have some uncheesed stuff left for tomorrow, so I'll probably try it then.
Dinner: Steak, mashed potatoes, asparagus, 12 oz Miller Lite
All good.
Then: Big Mac, McChicken, strawberry shortcake mcflurry. Oof.
Exercise: 18 holes with cart, some extra walking
