An interesting (to me, not to anyone else on Earth) start to the day. Some wins, some not.
Starting with the Ws, I slept decently. Woke up a couple times as I did the other night, just briefly, went right back to sleep. But notably when I woke up at 6:30 no alarm, I was pretty rested. This is very unusual. I felt ... decent? Getting up was no struggle. No cramps overnight, not even any threats that I noted.
Also, my legs were as non-swollen as they get. The right leg, which has only ever been swollen since about early February, was finally normal size. Left, as good as it gets. And even my right foot was only slightly swollen for the first time in a couple months. That feels GREAT.
On the flip side, the scale was up because yesterday's eating was atrocious. I can deal with that. And I have a notable wheat belly (bloated upper abdomen) going today. Would be nice to lose it. The bloat has been redistributed. Otherwise though I feel good.
So what was different? Well, I got exercise for a second consecutive day. I wasn't nearly as wiped out last night as I was on Friday. I had awful food for dinner but no beer. Really, the only completely unusual thing of special note is that I mixed up and drank a zero sugar electrolyte pack before bed. Sodium, potassium, magnesium and coconut milk powder with a bit of stevia. I sweated a reasonable amount (it was quite warm in the sun) and the only thing I replaced via food was salt. So I tried it. I was a little worried that it would be too much salt, but my BP this morning is essentially exactly the same as it was yesterday morning.
Breakfast: Breakfast sandwich (CF applewood bacon, sharp cheddar, homemade toast w butter), coffee
Last package of reject bacon (or bacon period), I need to get to the farm. Also, I picked up a bottle of Siete jalapeno botana sauce to try (no seed oils) so I threw a bit on, pretty tasty.
Lunch: Wendy's double
Audible. It was hot at home (pushing 80 in the house) and I decided not to heat it up further by cooking what I had planned.
Dinner: Steak, chips, salad w avo oil ranch, mini croissant
Sunday dinners. Not the best steak ever.
Also: 2x Big Mac, frozen Coke.
Idiot.
Exercise: 18 holes with cart. I did quite a bit of extra walking, best it has been in a while.
Going to do another round of the electrolyte supplement tonight, would love to see the same results. Again a little nervous about taking in more salt, again did sweat a reasonable amount today so I think it will make a difference.
