Whew, managed to make it to Friday. Very happy about that.
Today's bread is from a different (pullman) loaf that was frozen, so the size is different. Bigger. In hindsight I should have only had one slice for breakfast. Or none. Anyway, also of note is how different the texture was when grilled, it was quite robust. Pleasant. Certainly different than what I've been getting with the commercial bread. We'll see how well it repeats.
I also noted a different texture with the pudding last night, using high quality local non-homogonized milk instead of the usual stuff from the store. I'll be interested to see if that repeats - it's possible I just erred on my measurement a little, but I don't think it would have been enough to have the impact. It's interesting. To me anyway.
Breakfast: Homemade bread w butter, coffee
Yeah.
Lunch: Soup and grilled cheese
Yup. I should also cut the bread into thinner slices. I winged it instead of using the guide. As a result, they thicc.
Dinner: Chips and guac, 12 oz All Day IPA, Home pizza w pep mush, SF vanilla pudding
Sigh. Broke the rule again, shopped while hungry. Need to change when I go. Guac sounded really good. It was. The pizza was meh, on a Meijer thin crust Boboli thing. Not at all impressed.
Oh, and the pudding had the same texture with the rest of the good milk, very silky.
Exercise: Nope. Getting closer to 100% but definitely not yet there.
