Days like today feel like a bonus. The weather was nice enough to be outside. Occasional peeks of the sun. No wind. No parka needed. Not warm, but you aren't suffering if you're dressed appropriately. And it's a Saturday, not a Monday or something.
It's been a week of two phase sleeping and I'm kind of annoyed by it. I wake up in the middle of the night -- 2:15 this morning, dispose of some water, then don't get immediately back to sleep. I bet it was almost 4:00 before I did. Which really cuts into the sleep when you have to get up on time.
Anyway, scale was down a bit again which was nice. Lower legs are notably less swollen for once. Won't last, but it's always a nice thing to see.
Breakfast: 2 eggs over medium, 3 strips bacon, hash browns, raisin toast w jam, coffee
Standard pregolf breakfast out one (maybe) last time for the season.
Lunch: 16 oz Mich Ultra
Post-round.
Dinner: Brisket and cheesy potatoes, cornbread
Drove over to the BBQ place after golf, so I was ready to eat when I got home. As usual, I ate about half of the brisket and half of the potatoes. I'll eat the rest for lunch tomorrow.
Capper of some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and 2% milk. Definitely not my finest batch, but still tasty.
Exercise: 18 holes with cart. Lots of walking, I'm fairly tired.
