Poky this morning.  I wasn't ready to go to bed when I got home last night and then I fought my eyelids for quite a while in the recliner before finally getting up and laying down.  If it were not for the contacts I probably would have been out cold.  Feels like I slept acceptably, it just was not enough.  And as a result I am very late to work this morning.

Cleared out some waste of all types and as such the scale was good this morning.  We'll see if I can maintain the experiment for a bit and if so how it goes.

Breakfast:  3 strips CF garlic pepper bacon, coffee

 


In a rush.

Lunch:   Wendys sons of baconator, fries w ketchup, glass of chocolate milk

If the farm offered a quart option I'd get that, a half gallon is quite a bit of milk for one person for a week.  I probably won't finish it.

I am definitely not the first to say that this is the Monday-est Tuesday ever, but I'm going with it.  Ugh.  I have no pep.

On the plus side I did wake up early (5:15) and didn't feel the need to go back to sleep, so there is hope that my schedule shifting project might get off the ground this week.  I elected not to go for a morning walk - I'm still feeling the effects of the weekend golf and will go out again this evening.  I will say that I'm not as beat up today which is good.  I was pretty tired last night.  I need to get rolling on the weight loss via eating better before I get too carried away with additional exercise.

Breakfast:  4 strips CF black pepper garlic bacon, coffee

 


Going to be an excessive coffee kind of day.

Lunch:  ~5 oz home taco meat, 2C mashed potatoes, glass of chocolate milk (at 4:30)

Not sure why those two phrases can mean more or less the same thing, but I feel both of them this morning.  Tired, cranky knees, not a lot of pep.  Let's see what coffee can do for me.

Another sluggish start.  Woke up at 5:45, which has happened a couple times this week.  Minor headache, just enough to make going back to sleep immediately impossible.  Even after I got up, got rid of some water and hit the recliner I couldn't quite get there.  Oh well.  Lots to do.

Breakfast:  Lazy bagels with plain cream cheese, coffee


I had the necessary ingredients.

Lunch:  Wendys sons of baconator, fries w ketchup.  A few chips and onion dip.

Unusually good today.   Also snickers ice cream bars.

Dinner:  Brats, chips, salad no dressing, 12 oz Miller Lite

 Sunday dinners.  Also TB luxe box w pepsi, double beef burrito

Not a great day.  Woke up after a couple hours with nasty acid reflux and spent the rest of the night in the recliner.  I just don't sleep well under those conditions.  Had nothing at work, did the bare minimum.  Disappointing.

Trying to be thankful for what I got.

Definitely thankful that it's been a relatively light week.  I have not been locked in.  Not at all.  It's been a real struggle getting focused on anything.

Had a weird incident mid afternoon where my eyes just went loco, got a little dizzy and just felt way off for a while.  Not vertigo, I don't think, but not entirely unlike it.  Had some water, stepped away from the screens and it cleared up eventually.  I hope that it does not repeat.

Didn't sleep great and definitely could have used more.  I'm so sluggish in the morning.  My knees (and adjacent muscles and such) are also not real thrilled.  Getting up isn't my most favorite thing right now.  Hopefully axing some stuff, starting with the beetus juice, and losing some pounds will help.

Slow start this morning.  While I was ready to go to bed early last night, it took far too long to motivate myself out of the recliner.  Got up at 5:00, scrolled for a bit, then dozed off in the recliner.  Lots of dreaming so I was asleep.

Anyway, of note this morning was that my bad leg was completely unswollen and the same size as the other.  This happens every couple of months and I never have any idea why.  It doesn't appear to be correlated with anything, the only thing unusual about yesterday is that I drank less water.  But nothing dramatic.  This is a mystery I'll probably never solve.

Breakfast:  Parmesan toast, coffee

Lunch:  Ham and wild rice soup

April is in the books and good riddance.  Technically I was down a few pounds for the month, all of which took place over two days.

Strangely enough I was down some today for no obvious reason.  I had a major blowup last night, ate way too much chain pizza.  Frustrated.  Annoyed.  Tired.  All of the things.  And yet here we are.  I felt fat this morning but it was still fairly dense.

Anyway, whatever.  Not a good day today either.  But tomorrow is Friday.  I have plans to hit a new grocery store for a couple items I can't get locally.  There will probably be brisket involved.  And hopefully much golf (and a little work) this weekend.

Breakfast:  2 strips CF HD bacon, coffee

 


Last of it.

Lunch:  Jimmy Johns toasted italian (minus mayo, v&o, plus mustard and peppers), salt and vinegar chips, diet lemonade

Work.

Dinner:  Chips and onion dip, taco rice, guac, 12 oz All Day IPA, chocolate milk

 


Excessive.  And a very chippy day.
