I sometimes wonder what it would be like to not have the feeling of needing to rush in to work just as fast as possible after I drag myself out of bed. No feeling of guilt over eating breakfast (even if it's drive thru), no worry about whether I took too much time doing something as innocuous as making the bed (which takes 30 seconds). I imagine that it feels a lot like a winter weekend morning.
Sure I have plenty of things I want an need to do. But I don't feel rushed to do them. It's a nice feeling.
Breakfast: 2 eggs over medium, 4 strips Wright bacon, Alexia hash browns in butter, coffee
Note to self, buy this bacon when it's on sale. Regular price of $9/pkg! |
Also: Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, more coffee
Lunch: Leftover deluxe pizza, some Meijer ranch dorito type chips
Dinner: Tuna biscuit sandwich, 1/2 grilled cheese, tomato and chicken noodle soup, salad with rance, 12 oz Miller Lite.
Ate way too much. Guh.
Exercise: Not really, but I was pretty active and moved some stuff. I could count it.
