Adequately Baconed

Whew.  TGIS.  Felt like I slept okay despite more/louder snoring.  A little sluggish this morning but nothing that couldn't be overcome.  Just dawdling before tackling the to-do list.

Speaking of that to-do list, it is long.  I have no hope of getting through it, but I am hoping for a productive weekend where I can check a dozen things off.  I didn't get the start I had hoped last night, even though my wishes were modest, but that's the way it goes.

Breakfast:  Buttermilk pancakes w butter and maple syrup, 5 strips Kiolbasa pepper bacon, 1/2 grapefruit, glass of whole milk, coffee


Went deluxe today.  Have some stuff to use up (eg milk and buttermilk).  All delicious.  Oddly enough, I probably would have been fine with just 2 or maybe 3 strips of bacon -- that never happens!  I'm never adequately baconed.

Lunch:   Olive burger, french fries w ketchup, chicken rice soup, Diet Dr. Pepper Cherry


Takeout burger from a local place.  The fries aren't any good without ketchup (not that I should get fries in the first place) but the burger is fantastic.

Dinner:  Pepperoni pizza


One of the better pizzas I have made.  Added some basil to the sauce, gave it extra zip.

Exercise:  Nope.  Modestly active around the house, but not enough to call it exercise.
