Hooray, no more 2020. Very happy about that. It went out fine, though, a relaxing evening at home with a pizza and a bottle of sparkling wine.
I have been wildly off track with the eating, though today's number is inflated by the timing. I'm pretty serious about eating more at home this year so I think I'll see some progress during the dull months of January, February and March. We'll see how COVID factors into that.
Incidentally, I do not believe in starting resolutions on January 1, so nothing great coming up today or through the weekend for that matter. It would be nice to post accurately so that my folly can be laid bare, though.
Breakfast: Sausage strata, orange juice, coffee
Pretty lousy picture, as I flipped this piece upside down. Oh well. It was very good. And I had a second helping.
Lunch: Leftover deluxe pizza, Sprite. Also had a bit of banana leftover from cooking.
Good stuff. I'm sure I'll get it again at some point, but it may be a while.
Also, I had a little homemade chex mix from the batch I made today. No wheat chex in this batch and I killed off the box of rice chex too. I should have just thrown in the last cup or two of corn chex since that's all I have left lol.
Dinner: Ham, scalloped potatoes, corn, buttermilk rolls with butter, Jello with strawberries and bananas
Traditional new year's meal in our family. All good.
Exercise: Nope.
