A relatively normal day. Worked all day, had things to do. Went to the grocery store after work. Once again bought too much, though I did resist the temptation to buy yet another bag of flour. I now have several things I must make because I bought the items to make them. And I have to eat them because I have no room in fridge or freezer to speak of.
One of the last things I did last night was "install" the mattress topper I received yesterday. I didn't expect much, it's 2" of memory foam, but it seemed to feel OK. It'll probably take a few weeks to give it a fair evaluation. One thing I did notice - even though I didn't really smell anything chemically I woke up this morning with signs of post nasal drip ... which is NOT something you want right now. Yikes. At least it cleared up and the light mucus and sore throat were obviously temporary. Hopefully it's not a repeat issue -- I really want to be sure that I keep as many allergens out of the bedroom as possible. Actually, note to self, I also have some memory foam pillows that were a relatively recent purchase, may need to ban those too if it looks like there may be an issue. I haven't been really using those so no big deal if so.
Breakfast: Coffee
Haven't had any cocoa butter in a while, though I have plenty in stock. Dunno why.
Lunch: Ham and cheese sandwich on sourdough with butter, jalapeno mustard. Fage vanilla TruBlend yogurt
Decided to have my sandwich constructed this time. It was quite good, though the addition of mustard made it messy. Probably should have put that on the bread and just heavy buttered the other slice. Live and learn and get less lazy.
Dinner: 4 ground beef tacos, mexican style, plus avocado and hot sauce. 36 oz Labatt Blue Citra.
Didn't get home until almost 7:00, by the time I put the groceries away I just wanted to eat. I had planned to make sausage balls but just didn't have the pep. Maybe tomorrow.
Let's see what this beer can do with the power of tacos. It's not an IPA, more of an in between.
Exercise: Nope. I did spend an hour at the grocery store but just can't bring myself to count that.
