Sigh. It's not good to run out of gas on Tuesday. I didn't sleep well last night apparently and this afternoon I had no pep. Sure would be nice if Christmas lined up so I'd get a long weekend out of it instead of a week with a Monday, two days off, then two days on, then a weekend.
Breakfast: Pumpkin bread with butter, coffee
Same. Again forgot to take a photo.
Lunch: 2 jumbo eggs over medium, 4 strips thick cut bacon, medium avocado, 2 slices sharp cheddar, slice of bread with butter
A delicious lunch full of satisfying fat.
Dinner: Domino's pepperoni, ham and green olive pan pizza
Doggone convenient cheap quick pizza.
Exercise: Nope

Leg Day
Monday, December 16, 2019
Whew. Long day. A dinner and a few projects await at home.
Pretty pleased with how much I accomplished around the house this weekend. I sure have a lot more to do, but at least there was some progress. And even though it wasn't a super productive day I did feel pretty accomplished -- during my lunch hour I threw a chicken leg quarter and some vegetables and stuff into the slow cooker so that dinner will be mostly done. I'm usually not that motivated, thus the pizza problem.
Breakfast: 2 slices pumpkin bread with butter, coffee
Stock photo (i.e. from yesterday) since I somehow forgot to take a picture. Like this but with more butter. Anyway ... a few days left of this. It was better cold. I will say that I didn't *need* breakfast, but it was still enjoyable to have it with my coffee.
Lunch: Tacos with sharp cheddar and fire sauce
I like tacos. I may even continue to buy the shells until eating at home is firmly established as a habit.
Dinner: Slow cooker chicken with vegetables, mashed potatoes, bread with butter
I had the bread and butter when I got home, before I started working on the potatoes. It was nice to eat a little something to satisfy the insane portion of my brain that thinks I should always eat immediately when I get home from work. Chicken with vegetables cooked soup style was very tasty. I shredded the chicken and added it back in. For tonight's meal I just added a couple scoops of broth, but I'll definitely save the leftovers as soup, since I dunno if I'll feel like doing potatoes tomorrow.
Exercise: Nope.

Pizza Dunnit

Sure would be nice if pizza weren't the enemy. And no, cauli crust pizza is not pizza.
Getting an early start on the post. I have high hopes for a productive day. Yesterday lost a chunk to holiday shopping and then a bunch more to watching the Presidents Cup.
Breakfast: Pumpkin bread with lots of butter, coffee
I was going to use my new stand mixer (which I haven't taken out of the box just yet) but this recipe doesn't really call for it, it's too delicate. Maybe next weekend, or this week for pizza dough or something. I had a bunch of expiring gift certificates to use up so I didn't spend much cash on it. One of the few kitchen gadgets I don't have. As for the pumpkin bread, it was OK.
Lunch: Tacos (with shells), guacamole, cheddar jack cheese and fire sauce
Bought shells when I went to the store on Friday, as a way to make sure I ate the pound of ground beef I had sitting in the fridge instead of eating out or something all weekend. Also used up the container of guac that I bought last week. Next time, I should look for the single serving packs, that was a LOT of guac. Changed the flavor profile of the tacos -- not in a bad way. Suitably stuffed.
Dinner: 1.5 hot dogs and 1 brat with bun, mashed potatoes, salad, 12 oz beer, vanilla cake with vanilla ice cream, 3 McD cheeseburgers
Sigh. Still me.
Exercise: Nope. Very active around the house today and very tired by evening, but nothing resembling concerted exercise.

Grateful as always -- pretty much anyway -- for the weekend. Off to a lazy start, hanging out in the recliner taking care of most of my Christmas shopping. Thank you Al Gore for inventing the internet, it's a life saver. I'll probably venture out shortly for a couple stops, but those shouldn't be too rough.
Breakfast: 5 links Kiolbassa breakfast sausage, coffee
Felt like eating. In hindsight I would have been happy with 2 or 3 links, but my stomach and brain just aren't ever on the same page. These are good, they're just different. Don't have so much of that standard breakfast sausage taste and they're denser in texture than most sausage. Will get again.
Lunch: CFA chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich
No photo taken.
Decided to try and finish as much of my shopping as possible, which meant that I was out come lunchtime. Used points for a free meal. Good idea considering that I spent ample quantities. Not as much as the guy ahead of me at Walgreens who put $500.00 on a Cabela's gift card though.
Dinner: Homemade pizza, pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms
Turned out quite good. The misshapen pizza was a consequence of stretch fail. Once I failed the glutens got angry and wanted no part of being stretched or rolled. Since I have no patience, I lived with it.
I'll probably have another small bowl of the Rebel ice cream later.
Exercise: Nope. Some walking while shopping but not enough to count.

Avocadoish
Friday, December 13, 2019
Thank goodness it's Friday. Ready for a weekend to try and reboot a bit.
Lunch: 2 eggs over medium, medium avocado, 5 kiolbassa breakfast links, Alexia hash browns in butter
A fine lunch. Not even terrible cleanup.
Dinner: Taco salad, pork with extra avocado and hot sauce
Pretty good. Probably won't make this a weekly thing, but it was solid.
Edit: Also had a little Rebel ice cream, butter pecan flavor
This was pretty good. I don't know that I'd want to eat a large quantity as a time, since it has erythyritol which will do fun things to your digestive system when you go crazy, but it was a nice treat.
Exercise: Nope.

Legends of the FAIL
Thursday, December 12, 2019
Sigh. It's been a tough week. Lots of work stress. Not great sleep. And then there's bad eating.
Ugly.
Lunch: Corned beef hash, eggs over medium, wheat toast
I asked for raisin toast, I got wheat. Oh well. I hadn't been to this place in a long time.
Dinner: Pepperoni bacon pizza
Quite tasty of course. But too much.

File Under Blip
Tuesday, December 10, 2019
And on the week goes. Glad to see that a small increase in weight was just a blip.
As mentioned yesterday I'm going to skip writing breakfast: coffee. Noting black coffee seems fairly pointless. I already skip mentioning carbonated water.
Lunch: Ham bacon beans, 2 slices sharp cheddar cheese, bread with butter
Good stuff. I was surprised that the bread was in fine shape considering I made it on Saturday. Just stored it cut side down on the cutting board with a towel over it.
Dinner: Domino's pan pizza with pepperoni, ham, green olives
Oops. Weekday dinners continue to be a problem.
Exercise: Nope.

Sometimes Unexpected Bloat
Monday, December 9, 2019
Really a shame that it had to be Monday. It was a long day.
Got a sideways look at myself this evening and good lord. Awful. Amazing how that weight hangs on the midsection and the bloat, it is real. Not terribly pleased to be up a bit this morning, but I did eat way too many carbs yesterday.
Onward. It's going to be a miserably busy week.
Breakfast: Coffee
I may just eliminate the breakfast section if I stick with two meals a day.
Lunch: Qdoba bowl - double brisket, scoop white rice, pico, verdo, cheese, guac.
I absentmindedly got pico instead of roja but it was fine. A good meal, though I needed to be more specific on the rice, I think I got a full scoop instead of a small scoop. I was going to get sausages from the BBQ place but they're closed on Mondays.
Dinner: 4 ground beef tacos, mexican style with hot sauce and avocado
Standard Monday fare. Decided to grab this instead of eating at home since I turned right around and went back to work.
Exercise: Nope.

Cleaning Up The Kondo
Sunday, December 8, 2019
Super thankful that it's a weekend day. I accomplished a surprising amount yesterday (by my very modest standards anyway) and I'm looking to keep the ball rolling today. The to-do list is far longer than I can hope to accomplish, but just seeing the number of things that were crossed off yesterday is a little inspiring. Schedule is still off but basically two hours shifted back toward good. A similar shift tomorrow and I'm right there on weekday schedule.
Since I didn't need or want to eat right away when I got up I decided to tackle a project. I cleaned out my closet. Tossed a couple pairs of torn up jeans, grabbed a few things to donate -- not much, just a couple -- sorted and reorganized. Took an hour or thereabouts and I feel so good having it done. Didn't go full Marie Kondo, but just having it in better shape is bringing joy.
Breakfast: Coffee
I guess technically since I started the coffee about 10:30. Still more of a brunch thing today since I got up very late and will be eating closer to wake up than usual.
Lunch: 3 CF jumbo eggs, scrambled with shredded extra sharp cheddar, 5 strips Kiolbassa thick cut pepper bacon, homemade buttermilk wheat bread with lots of butter
Too much. Next time, 2 eggs, 4 strips bacon is plenty. Plus 4 strips should allow for a neat 3 servings per package.
Dinner: Chuck roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, 12 oz Miller Lite, roll with butter
Ate too much, especially too many carbs.
Exercise: Nope.

I enjoy nonsensical post titles.
Stayed up way, way too late last night. Got into a book. Didn't sleep until after 3:00, which of course has me completely out of whack today. Finally got up at 10:30, feeling meh but revived after a shower and some coffee. I have things to do.
First order of business will be some cooking projects. I have some bread dough to bake, going to make some ham and beans, and I'll need to get some carnitas in the slow cooker shortly. If the pork dishes turn out I should have eight or ten freezer meals. ... hope I have room.
Brunch: 2 jumbo CF eggs over medium, Alexia hash browns in butter, 5 strips Kiolbassa thick cut pepper bacon, coffee
Ate about 1:00, maybe a bit after, so it wasn't really breakfast, though it was closer in time to get up than I am usually eating this week. I also managed to set off the smoke detectors for the first time in the two or three years I've been living here. Oops. Had the hash browns on a different burner which was apparently more powerful than the one I usually use. Second time getting the bacon, this time it was cooked perfectly and I really liked it. When I went to the store I got a couple other Kiolbassa products to try as well. Nice to see no funny stuff in the ingredient list.
Dinner: Ham 'n Bacon 'n Beans, homemade buttermilk wheat bread with lots of butter
I mostly winged it on the beans, other than using the trusty spicy beans time guideline for how long to keep them on the stove. Turned out delicious. And the bread, really really good for almost zero effort.
Exercise: Nope. I will say that I have been at least a hair more mobile the last couple days. If I'm rested especially. I would still be put in a world of hurt by more than one flight of stairs, but any progress is good progress. Definitely want to do more regular walking hopefully soon.
Now if I could just get consistent rest. It's odd and unpleasant being unable to sleep well. Finding a comfortable position is hard. I get random knee pain from the one that is wrecked. More than ever before I have to get up after a few hours to hit the restroom. Bah.

Glad the week is over. It was a positive one, though I still have a mountain of work to do. That ... is a problem for another day.
Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: Bowl of beef stew, glass of whole milk, 2 slices sharp cheddar
I like the stew, but I don't think I can eat it every single day. So I'm going to come up with some things to make and freeze this weekend.
Dinner: Taco salad with al pastor pork, extra avocado, hot sauce, glass of whole milk
Went grocery shopping after dinner, stocked way up. As a consequence, I didn't get home until after 7:30 and by the time I put the stuff away I was hungry. Didn't want to wait a half hour to prep the planned breakfast for dinner, so I walked over and got a taco salad. Asked for half the usual rice ... I think I got more beans and more everything else because it was still enormous. Couldn't quite finish it but I came close ... like I said, I was hungry. Milk has been finished.
Note to self: Next time maybe go get the groceries *after* dinner.
Exercise: Nope

Thursday, December 5, 2019
I'm not inclined to believe that one good clean day makes *that* much of a difference, but I will say that I'm having a pretty good day today, at least through lunch where we are so far. Even though I was tired when I woke up, I haven't been foggy or fatigued ... which is very nice. Even accomplished some volume stuff at the office.
Breakfast: Coffee
Not notably hungry. I really do think that you get used to a pattern when it comes to breakfast -- if I don't eat it on a regular basis my body adjusts and it's no big deal.
Lunch: Bowl of beef stew, 2 strips thick cut bacon, glass of whole milk
Decided to go extra Weston A Price today. The Fishman book says the schoolkids fed his nutritious stew also got a couple glasses of milk and some rolls with butter. I have a glass half gallon of the best whole milk that hasn't been completely used up, so why not drink a glass? No rolls tho, and I had to settle for two strips of bacon leftover from the weekend in place of the butter. All good.
Dinner: Leftover taco meat, extra sharp cheddar, fire sauce
Not bad at all. Would have been better if I'd heated it more and had another avocado but still good.
Exercise: Nope.

How about that, a successful day. It was a near thing, I came perilously close to pizza for dinner, but fortunately I ate the easiest access kind yesterday and had enough time to talk myself out of it while going home from work.
Breakfast: Coffee
Another early start to the workday. No hunger.
Lunch: 2x Wendy's singles with cheese, no buns
The two singles were a dollar cheaper than the double. Ordered them plain, tossed the buns.
Dinner: 1/2 lb ground beef with taco seasoning, extra sharp cheddar, fire sauce, large avocado
Look ma, no shells! I also considered buying some on the way home but laziness won out. Yay.
Tried a new seasoning mix this time, just organic spices, no cornstarch. It was very good. I'm sure it would be cheaper to just make my own, but being lazy and all I'm glad I had this in the cupboard. Leftovers for tomorrow too.
Exercise: Nope. If I'd gone to sleep when I went to bed last night, maybe. Instead I started reading a book and 4 hours later.... Finished it tonight, but too late to have much hope for tomorrow.

Fifty Percent Or So
Tuesday, December 3, 2019
Sigh. A strange day.
Woke up OK. I was a few minutes late getting out the door for my early work start but not bad. I dozed (very lightly) for a while during a wait in a medical office. Took an early and long lunch, dozed some more. And it's not even 7:30 and I'm starting to yawn. Add in that I was not the least bit interested in anything work-related today and it really was not great Bob.
On the positive side, I was doing really well until about 4:45 on the food front. At that point, I decided I was hungry. After another hour of work that, plus being tired, led to a crack. Doggone it. At least I went another day without soda and didn't have any sugar today, just starchy carbs. So it wasn't all bad. Just bad.
Breakfast: None
Didn't even have coffee today, just a little water.
Lunch: Pint of beef stew
This is a batch I made a few weeks ago that's been in the freezer. It's based on the Weston A Price nutritious stew in Stanley Fishman's book, just no bone marrow. I also throw in some potatoes, not sure if those are in the recipe or not. I've eaten a lot of this over the years. This batch is beefier than usual since I used a 3 or 4 pound chuck roast.
Dinner: Domino's pan pizza with pepperoni, ham, green olives
Like I said .. doggone it.
Exercise: Nope.

Back To Something
Monday, December 2, 2019
Was not excited to go back to work. It didn't help that I had an early start. Oh well, those are the breaks. It was kinda nice, I will admit, to be back in a routine, even if I wish there were not so many hours in the work day.
Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: 2 Culvers double deluxes, no onion
This was a bit much for whatever reason. It would have been nice if I could have skipped the buns. Baby steps today, though -- no soda.
Dinner: 4 mexican style tacos, plus cheese, hot sauce. A few Lays chips. A small glass of chocolate milk
Tacos were big tonight. Almost forgot to take a picture. Not many chips, just the dregs of a bag, maybe an ounce or so. And a modest sized glass to finish off a pint of chocolate milk. That stuff is so good -- it's from a semi-local dairy, in a glass bottle, and it's just fablous. It's also expensive, but it would be worth it if I could drink it on a regular basis.
Exercise: Nope.

Water By The Pound
Sunday, December 1, 2019
Sad that it's the last day of a long weekend. I didn't get a whole lot accomplished (and will not), but so it goes. At least I'm a little more upbeat today.
Went to bed a little earlier last night, all it meant was that I woke up earlier. 4:00 to be exact, which is stupid. Lost a few pounds of water. At least I was able to go back to sleep for once. Ended up sleeping in, sort of, dozing in the recliner after a second water withdrawal. No idea where all this liquid is coming from.
Breakfast: 4 slices white bread with butter and mozz cheese, 3 strips thick cut bacon
Have now tossed the rest of the bread. Pretty sure Thanksgiving is about the only time of year I'd ever buy white bread, it's just not good.
Lunch: Leftover tacos with sharp cheddar and fire sauce
Used up a bag of shredded cheese, so there was a lot.
Dinner: American goulash, roll with butter, a little salad, apple pie and vanilla ice cream. 12 oz Miller Lite
Also: 2 McD cheeseburgers, Dr. Pepper
Exercise: Nope.

Didn't find a whole lot of energy.
Breakfast: Hostess giant donette, whole milk, 2 slices sourdough, 4 strips bacon, butter
The donuts had a horrible chemical scent to them and were not very good, so I quickly chucked what I had left. Never again.
Lunch: Tacos with sharp cheddar and TB fire sauce
I got smaller shells this time. When I cut out the grains I wonder how much I'll enjoy bowl tacos. 80% as much? Maybe.
Snack: Chips and jalapeno cheddar dip, lemonade
Dip label mentions genetic engineering. Probably a good idea to be done.
Dinner: Turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes.
Hit the leftovers hard. Deli turkey, packet gravy since I didn't have any of those left. Was kinda uncomfortable afterward so I'm going to toss the stuff I have left. Tasted good tho.
Exercise: No chance

Garbage Time
Friday, November 29, 2019
Welp.
Made it through Thanksgiving. Had a big feast early afternoon and then never considered eating anything the rest of the day. Wiped out, I went to bed at 9:30.
Sleep poorly yet again. Up at 5 for a bit, then snoozed fitfully in a chair for serveral hours. Felt lousy. Lots of unhappy body parts. Eventually perked up some after a shower, but it was a slow go.
I don't really do Black Friday but I did go out this evening and bought myself a new Chromebook. I'm hoping that will be helpful in getting this blog to a more consistent place. Now I just need to sell a few things on eBay to recover the cost!
Breakfast: Hostess giant donettes, milk
Lunch: Jack's frozen bacon cheeseburger pizza, Coke, chips and salsa
Dinner: Five Guys little cheeseburger all the way, little fries with ketchup
Exercise: Not a chance. Really, really struggling physically. Need to fix the diet first and foremost.

It's the starting that's the hardest part.
Sigh. Let's get through today and try again.
Breakfast: Leftover waffles with maple syrup, many strips of pepper bacon
Forgot the rest, never came back to finish.

A Nadir
Saturday, November 16, 2019
It's been brutal. For every day that's decent there are ten that are horrible. No consistency.
It's a fact, though, that I have felt more mortal the last couple months than I ever have. Even when my weight has peaked previously I didn't experience major physical issues. Now, I do. The wrecked knee is one thing, but it's really scary to feel your heart and lungs heavily loaded from even the smallest activity. To be unable to sleep because you can't find a position that your body can take. It's awful.
As a long-time food addict, though, change is hard. I'm planning on staying home today, working on some things around the house, and hopefully feeling like I can get things back on track. Too many carbs are lined up, but a lot of the wheat ones at least are buttermilk soaked.
Breakfast: Overnight soaked buttermilk waffles with maple syrup, thick cut pepper bacon, a few rosemary and olive oil Triscuits, coffee
Severely overcooked the bacon. Surprising, since my oven has been seeming weak lately. It was a different kind of bacon, otherwise same method as usual. Oh well, it was still edible. Waffles were fantastic, I don't understand people that dislike buttermilk flavor. Triscuits have been cleaned up.
Lunch: Tacos with shredded cheddar and TB fire sauce
Good. Carby, but good. Better if I didn't eat so many shells. Leftovers tomorrow.
Dinner: Failed homemade cheese pizza with buttermilk crust, CFA spicy chicken, fries, mac and cheese, coke, Culvers concrete mixer
All sorts of fail. The crust on the pizza didn't work, since it didn't develop the gluten needed for the way I prepared it. It would have been fine otherwise. Then I was hungry later and boom went the dynamite.
Exercise: Nope.

So All Needed Was One More Hour?
Sunday, November 3, 2019
As annoying as daylight savings time is, I sure do love that extra hour we get in the fall. I even managed to fake myself out this morning -- I changed my alarm from 6:30 to 5:30 on my phone, woke up shortly before what the clock said was 5:30 ... and only after I got up did I realize that I hadn't set the clocks back and it was only 4:30. Oops. Dozed in a chair for a few minutes but couldn't get back to sleep. And so ... I managed to motivate enough to go for a short walk. All I needed was one more hour?
Otherwise in a fantastic mood this morning. Not too fazed by the scale going the wrong way -- I mean, it's obvious why given my horrendous overeating of late -- since for once I'm optimistic about making some positive changes. I do wonder if there are some things I can eat if prepared correctly (without sugar and seed oils, soaked/fermented etc) but we will see. Once I eat through some junk that is.
Breakfast: Homemade soaked buttermilk waffles with maple syrup, 5 strips applewood bacon, coffee
Changed up the waffle recipe and went with one that soaked the flour in buttermilk overnight Weston A Price style. Kinda winged it beyond that tbqh. Didn't notice any difference in taste, but I like the tang anyway. Also went straight maple syrup since I think I pretty much finished my bottle of Tree Hive syrup with honey yesterday.
Also, oddly enough the recipe made nearly six waffles, up from 4 and 5. Same cup of flour.
Lunch: Oh yes, lots of it.
Dinner: Tons.
Exercise: Short walk, phone said 0.6 mile, was just about 20 minutes.
Went just fine. Geared up appropriately for 37 degrees F, though I do need to find my beanie (or get a new one). I don't have an ideal route for my walk any more, but if I can deal with a few blocks I can catch the route I used to take and do some of that.

Satured Day
Saturday, November 2, 2019
Have I mentioned how much I love weekends? They're great. Now if only they were 3 days long. I guess I'll settle for the extra hour of sleep tonight. As an added bonus I woke up early this morning, so if I don't stay up too late tonight maybe I can use the time shift to fix my schedule. Maybe. History of doing so has been pretty poor.
Breakfast: 3x homemade buttermilk waffles with Tree Hive syrup, 5 srips thick cut cherrywood bacon, coffee
Made the same waffle recipe as last week, this time it made 5 waffles instead of 4 for some unknown reason. Whatever. Two more to the freezer.
Lunch: Tacos - leftover taco meat, shells, avocado, sharp cheddar, Fire sauce. Chips and salsa, a little lemonade
This was very tasty. So much so that I bought another package of shells despite the fact that I shouldn't be eating them because of corn and seed oil.
Dinner: Homemade cheese sticks (pizza crust, olive oil, seasoning, mozz cheese). Taco Bell chicken chalupa supreme, beefy fritos burrito. Mini donuts, rice krispie treat
Okay, that was a lot of junk. Made the cheese sticks out of some dough I had in the fridge, trying a different version of the 72 hour dough recipe.
Exercise: Nope.

Okay Then Reboot Soon Son
Thursday, October 31, 2019
Alright then. Fail, then try again. One of these go arounds it's going to stick.
It wasn't today, and given the junk I have on hand probably not through the weekend. Still. Let's make some positive moves soon.
Breakfast: Taco Bell sausage quesadilla, sausage taco. Coffee
Was hungry. And then I was not.
Lunch: Jimmy Johns east coast italian sub, salt and vinegar chips, large Coke
Snack: Snickers bar. Vendor delivery, not something I bought.
Dinner: Homemade-ish tacos with cheese, chips and salsa, lemonade
Would have been better with limeade tbqh.
Exercise: Nope. Fat and injured.

Dinner: 2 McCheeseburgers, medium fries, large Coke
Also: Pretzel pieces, Hostess mini apple pies

In Which I Complain About The Fail
Tuesday, October 29, 2019
Sigh. It's so annoying being me.
I didn't leave work until almost 7:00. So do I feel like cooking? Heck no. I had planned to have breakfast for dinner, but even that simple meal seemed like too much work.
Pathetic.
Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: Leftover meatballs with thousand island. Same as yesterday.
Snack: 2 McD cheeseburgers, large Coke
Another habit to break.
Dinner: Little Caesars thin crust pepperoni pizza, extra cup of sauce
Exercise: Nope.

Milk and Cookies and Stuff
Monday, October 28, 2019
Okay, let's do this. Today wasn't stellar or perfect or anything. But I can take away a positive or two -- I had lunch at home and ate some stuff I had on hand.
Breakfast: Coffee
I did get a little hungry mid-morning, but nothing extreme. I remembered too late that I had some jerky at the office that I could have consumed.
Lunch: Cold leftover homemade meatballs with thousandish island dressing, glass of whole milk
Honestly I pretty much never drink milk. I bought a half gallon for some cooking projects and then never cooked anything much with it and it expires pronto, so why not.
Snack: 2 McD cheeseburgers, large Coke
Need to give the soda back up. With the early lunch and a late dinner I decided to snack. This is the sort of thing that needs to stop.
Dinner: 4 tacos, mexican style plus hot sauce and avocado. Chips and onion dip
Planned purchase, love Taco Monday. Cleaned up some chips and dip leftover from the weekend. Leaves me very short on junk ... which is both a good thing and I'm sure it'll be a problem.
Also: "World's Easiest Cookies" and milk.
Wanted something more. Googled easiest cookies and this is what I got -- almond flour, baking powder, vanilla and maple syrup. They were ... interesting.
Exercise: Nope. Limping pretty bad right now.

A Tack Of Some Sort
Sunday, October 27, 2019
It hasn't been a real good stretch. Insane dietary choices, eating way too much and not enough movement. I've felt pretty weak lately and I'm worried about my heart.
That said, I just don't know if I can do anything too extreme. I *do* know that I can make better food choices, and one of those choices is to eat more at home. So I'm going to try and do that. It won't be easy -- work is still work and life is still what it is -- but I'm going to give it some effort. Especially now, since the weather is going to limit what I can do outdoors.
Breakfast: 2 homemade waffles with Tree Hive maple syrup and honey, 5 strips Hormel cherrywood thick cut bacon, coffee
I planned to make some egg cups but wasn't organized enough this morning so I made waffles. They were quite good. Stuck 2 in the freezer for another day. Enjoyed the bacon, too.
Lunch: 4 homemade meatballs with thousand island, glass of whole milk. Later, chips and onion dip.
Meatballs, from my favorite low carb recipe. They're good cold. Dressing just a spoonful of Sir Kensington's avocado oil mayo and a little Primal Kitchen ketchup, both of which I bought during a major grocery restock on Friday night. Made the meatballs today, have 3 more servings (8 oz ea) left for the next couple days. I should see if these freeze.
Dinner: American goulash, garlic bread. Also 2 McD Cheeseburgers, large Coke
Sunday dinner, man. Okay, let's do this. Though I already am going to make an exception for Taco Monday.
Exercise: Nope. No golf today, though it wasn't a bad afternoon.

Appetite Unleashed
Tuesday, October 1, 2019
Welp. Bad result after having tacos, I was hungry today. Made it through the morning but lost it after that. Currently very overstuffed on pizza.
Sigh. Try again tomorrow. Motivation is hard.
Breakfast: None
Lunch: 2 CFA spicy chicken sandwiches, coffee (later)
Surprisingly unsatisfied. Quite hungry again well before dinner.
Dinner: Jet's super special deep dish pizza
Exercise: Nope.
