Turns out I did.  And this was very tasty.

Dinner:  TB beefy burrito, soft taco, root beer.  French dip, 12 oz Miller Lite.  Root beer, popcorn, no bakes


Way too much.

Exercise:  9 holes with cart, minimal walking.  Hot.  Also got in quite a few steps on a work project.

Not surprised to be up slightly this morning.  Ate junk, drank at least a gallon of water, probably more.  It happens.  Although I got a lot of exercise, it wasn't quite enough to burn through the junk.

Anyhow, slept through the night without incident, no cramps or anything.  All good.

Yup.

Lunch:  Leftover short rib ragu, mashed potatoes, a few good crisps

Ragu from the freezer from a few months ago, it was fine.  Glad to clean it up.

Dinner:  3x american, 2x mexican tacos, 12 oz coastie IPA, vanilla allu ice cream

Style So Cramped

If it wasn't painful it would have been funny.  Yesterday evening I had cramps in my left hand.   Recurrent.  Couldn't get rid of them.  Eventually got in the shower and that seemed to help.  But as I was headed to bed I started getting them in my right hand.  Aargh.  At least it made me put the phone down and try to sleep.  Woke up once about 1:00 with a mild foot cramp but then made it through the night without incident.  More very vivid dreams, and I even remembered one.   A weird one.

Scale was kind despite the awful dietary choices, not a huge surprise given the activity level.  Today won't be as active and it is off to a very slow start.  Slept in until after 8:30, didn't really get moving until at least an hour later.

Breakfast:  Lazy bagels with cream cheese, coffee


Yup.  French flour.  I reordered, despite it being ridiculously expensive.  Need to make some bread dough.

Lunch:  Jersey Mike's #56

Yuge.

Dinner:  BLT, chips, 12 oz Miller Lite, butter pecan ice cream, donuts

Sunday dinners.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart, lots of extra walking.  Got in a good workout.  It was also hot, drank an enourmous amount of water.

Strangeness

A very, very strange day.  I didn't stay up super late last night, was falling asleep in the recliner so I went to bed.  Didn't sleep great, had some very vivid dreams including an old favorite, going to miss a flight.   Woke up about the usual time to a swollen throat.  Back to sleep in the recliner ... and then I just couldn't get up.  Finally woke up for good around 10:00 but didn't get going until almost 11:00.  Very strange.

Was actually down on the scale this morning, that was a surprise.

Spent all day working on a storage unit cleanout, eight solid hours.  I am very, very tired.  Enjoying some hand cramping but hopefully a hot shower has knocked that out.  Hoping I sleep well tonight!

Breakfast:  2x McDouble

I slept so late they weren't even serving breakfast anymore.

Lunch:  Mc Double cheeseburger, fries

Someone else bought, I was hungry enough to eat something.

Dinner:  TB luxe box w root beer, cheesy double beef burrito.  A few good crisps.

I was pretty gross so it was drive thru dinner.  Not ideal.

Exercise:  As mentioned, 8 hours of storage unit cleanout.

Going to the farm takes a while.

Sigh.  I get annoyed when I fail.  Dinner was a disaster last night, and it wasn't even good.  

In any event, I pondered some and I think I just, to an extent, have to deal with a subpar diet for the time being.  I am going to try and keep up the soup lunches, but dinners will be more variable due to work and certain other commitments over the next three months.  I have a lot of stuff to do, so time for cooking will be at a premium.

Anyway, the week rolls on.  I didn't pay a price on the scale this morning but I'm rather backed up and bloated.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yeah.   Didn't have the low blood sugar today, no idea what happened yesterday.

Lunch:  Soup and mash, swiss cheese slices


Again.

Dinner:   Pep ham pizza, 12 oz MI P1lsner

Nothing much of note today, just trying to stay steady.   No change on the scale, no big difference in how I feel, just more of the same.

Which isn't all bad.

I actually got quite a bit done last night, lots of laundry, made mashed potatoes and ice cream bases.  There is a bunch more on the to do list, but it felt good to get those knocked out since Sunday was such a dud on the home front.

To my mild surprise exercise won over pizza yesterday.  Despite eating far too much pizza - let's be honest, most any is too much and I have no restraint - and the system still being jammed up the scale was still down this morning.  So yay for that.

I'm pretty sluggish, though.  Didn't do much of anything last evening and it has taken until almost 9:00 to get through the basic morning stuff.  Need to get cracking.

Breakfast:  Lazy bagels w veggie cream cheese, coffee


Yup.  Mostly french flour since I had less than a half cup of King Arthur left.  Tasty.

Lunch:  TB 2x double beef burrito, 2x beef soft taco

Was crunched for time still no excuse

Dinner:  Steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, 12 oz Miller Lite, molasses cookie w butter pecan ice cream, good crisps


All good if a bit much.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart, lots of walking.  Actually had some pep for the first half, which was nice.

Some frustration today.  Not so much with the scale, I was backed up and pressed for time otherwise I'm sure it would have been better.  Not even so much with the eating fail.

Instead, I'm frustrated that I don't seem to see any improvements in stamina, energy level, strength, etc.  I am so disappointed to be as tired as I was after today's golf.  I'm not getting stuff done, either.  Instead, I'm sitting here watching preseason football on tape delay and thinking about going to bed early.

Breakfast:  McD egg mcmuffin, hash brown, coffee

Early meal on the go no time for the usual stop.

Lunch:  12 oz Mich Ultra (many hours later)

Yup.

Dinner:  Deluxe pizza, 12 oz MI P1lsner


Crack.  I was very hungry.

Was uncertain what the scale would say this morning.  Had to be mentally prepared for a gain (given lunch meat/excess sodium/popcorn) but was happy to see a drop.  I'm sure the exercise - even if it wasn't quite two miles - helped.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yeah.

Lunch:  Soup and mash, smokehouse cheddar

Last of the mash, will need to restock this weekend.  Forgot to take a photo, apparently.

Dinner:  Keto bowl, Boulder Canyon canyon poppers (cheese balls)


Dependably good.  And it was hilarious, my favorite burrito artist started making my order before I got close to the register.  It was ready by the time I paid.

Not a notable day.  Small dip on the scale.  Not terribly productive.  It happens.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Jimmy Johns east coast italian (minus mayo, v&o; add mustard, pickles) unwich, dill pickle, diet lemonade


Car was in the shop and it was raining so I went for delivery.  Too much sodium and meh, but whatever.

Dinner:  3 eggs over medium hard, hash browns in EVOO, 4 strips cherrywood bacon, 12 oz All Day IPA, home popcorn


A little better effort tonight, but I still left the eggs on a bit too long.  I'd rather have them medium shaded toward easy than medium shaded toward hard.

Exercise:  Walk, 37 minutes, about 4k steps.

I walked to work after dropping off my car.  It was nice early, good for walking.  I do need to retire my current pair of shoes though.

Repetitive But Good

You just never know what you're going to get on the scale.  I kinda enjoy trying to guess the day's number before I hop on.  I wasn't too certain about today -- I had both wheat and corn for dinner and a pretty decent number of calories.  I felt like I got rid of a little extra water and I did get in some modest exercise.  So I guessed a number down slightly.  Uhh... nope.  Big drop.  Which, of course, you gotta love.  

No progress made on fixing the sleep schedule.  One side effect of being less sluggish is that it's harder to get to bed.  One of these days I'll adopt a consistent schedule and allow enough time in bed, but that day is not today.  Or yesterday.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Lunch:  Soup and mash


Yup.  Repetitive but always good.

Water removal kicked in this afternoon, which is a good thing.  Not as great was the usual blah feeling that accompanies the first day of a reset.  The ol' blood sugar was a bit low at the end of the day, it takes a bit for the body to adjust.

Exercise:  Nope.  Didn't get to sleep much before midnight.  My schedule is so messed up.

Sigh.  Shifting schedules is so hard.  I was tired yesterday, so I hoped to crash around 8.  Made it to bed around 9.  Could not get to sleep.  It was easily 11:45 before I went to sleep and that was in the recliner.  So I was late this morning.  Still made time to vote though.

Did spend a little time thinking about dietary revisions.  I think some are doable, mostly just dialing back.  If I can avoid some things that I eat to great excess and clean up in general just a little bit things will be better.  I need to get off the yo-yo train and drop some pounds.  Not quite sure how I'm going to work in more exercise but that should happen too.

Good thing I didn't plan on an early start today.  I did not get to sleep until about 1:00 and was pretty wiped out when I did.  But thankfully I slept fine - made sure I got my electrolytes before crashing - and I'm feeling decent.  It's just late.  10:00 and I'm just about to eat breakfast.

Busy, busy, busy!  So much to do.

New hot sauce.  Flavorful and real heat.  Eggs stayed on a bit too long as the browns took extra time.

Dinner:  Home cheeseburger, chips, salad no dressing, sweet corn, 12 oz Miller Lite, blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream

Last day of the local festival.   About to walk down to see some fireworks.  Should be a good night for it.

I haven't done much of anything since I got home from golf.  A pleasant summer Saturday.  I'll have a ton to do tomorrow, but that's okay.

Lunch:  12 oz Miller Lite

Yup.

Dinner:  Sack of Taco Bell (luxe cravings box + double beef burrito), root beer, 12 oz Grand Armory Coastie IPA

There were reasons.  It was edible.

Festival food.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart, lots of walking.  It was toasty out there.  And then I got another 6,500 steps in walking down to the fireworks, wandering around and back home.  Whew.

A semi-holiday locally, leading in to the big conclusion of the festival tomorrow.  It is crazy busy around here, I won't be sad when it slows down a bit.

Otherwise, was very bloated this morning.  Serious wheat belly.  Maybe a delayed pizza reaction, dunno.  It's annoying.  I need to get it together.  I did not do so today.

Breakfast:  Pretzel bagel w veggie cream cheese, donut, coffee

Yeah.

Lunch:  Italian beef sandwich, fries

Yeah.

Dinner:  Keto bowl, a few good crisps, plain donut holes w a glass of whole milk


Yeah.

Exercise:  2x walks to/from work, 19 and 14 minutes respectively, about 10 of which was walking and the rest talking to people en route.  When you know people and everyone is out, you run into them.

I woke up this morning and it was like my stomach said "hey dummy I've been working on that pizza all night.  Still working on it.  Knock that **** off!"  Felt predictably not great.  Thankfully I was able to remove a lot of it and between that and not eating all day I did not pay a price on the scale.

But, seriously, put pizza on the no fly list already.

Breakfast:  Heel of homemade bread w butter, coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup, mashed potatoes


Runt soup, double the usual mash.  Cleaning out the freezer.  Need to make soup.  Also, the usual proportions are better.

Snack:  2x McDouble

Dinner:  3 eggs over medium, hash browns in olive oil, CF sausage links, 12 oz All Day IPA, allulose choc ice cream



Managed to stop eating, though I was getting plenty of neurons saying 'feed me!'
