In process of re-evaluating my schedule. I've been hoping that I could return to what I was doing in late 2012 and early 2013 -- getting up at 5:00, walking for an hour and then having time to get to the office early. Ideally I would push that hard and get to work by 6:30.
It's just not happening.
Instead, mornings are a perpetual struggle. I don't get to sleep early enough. I'm dozy. I just don't feel good enough to force myself out the door, assuming I make it as far as waking up. It has just been a mess. While my snore score has been really good of late I'm waking up too often -- I think I'm struggling with the firmness of the mattress given my various muscle, joint and bone issues. Going to throw the topper back on it and see if I can live with the heat.
Instead I think I'm going to need to push harder in the evenings. Work for a while after dinner. Not plan on going to bed early ... unless I have finished what I need to do. We'll see how fitting exercise into that plan works, but I need to do something to clear the work backlog.
Breakfast: Coffee
Standard.
Lunch: Roast beef and extra cheddar on Ole Foods Xtreme Wellness tomato basil tortillas
Not bad. The torts are only 4g net carb each, they're mostly fiber. Threw extra cheese on there to try and bump up the protein and fat a bit, there was only so much roast beef.
Dinner: Chef salad with ranch, 12 oz Miller Lite, way too many Boulder Canyon cheddar sour cream avo oil chips
Way too much lettuce, didn't eat anywhere close to all of it.
Exercise: 9 holes with card, somehow cleared 5k steps.
