You have to love an unintentional early morning.  Woke up at five no alarm.  Eventually got up and barely managed to push myself out the door.  Didn't go far -- I'm tired and a little achy (thanks sugar!) and fighting another round of callus on the bottom of foot.  Which is surprisingly annoying for something that isn't super painful.  I don't like being gimpy.  Back to wearing compression socks which seems to help.

Breakfast:  3 strips Wright applewood bacon, homemade cinnamon raisin bread with butter, coffee


I may have to try thawing the bread overnight first, it was fine (tasty even) but a little on the crunchy side.  A fine breakfast.

Lunch:  Beef and cheddar sausage, pepperoni pizza sausage, cheesy potatoes, mac and cheese, cornbread


Hit up the not-that-local BBQ/grilling outfit and got a boatload of stuff.  Ate way too much and I've got more for dinner and for lunch tomorrow and beyond.  I might weigh 400 pounds tomorrow.  Maybe 500.  Yeesh.

Dinner:  Smoked ribs with Stubbs spicy BBQ sauce, slice of sourdough w/ butter, 2x gin and tonics


I hadn't had ribs in forever.  These were quite good, albeit epically messy.  They probably won't be a regular part of my rotation but I'm glad I tried them.  The photo is of half the rack.

Exercise:  Just a few blocks, down and back.  Maybe 15 minutes or so.  Counts, because I did it.
