I do so enjoy the early stages of reducing the carbs and the sugar and the junk, if only because the scale makes moves downward as you get rid of some excess water. It's not real, of course, but it is gratifying.
Another day that really wasn't a problem. I had a psychological urge to eat mid-afternoon but was able to recognize it as non-physical and some nice cold water was what I really needed. It was too icy to even think about walking -- more coming tonight-- but I wouldn't have done it anyway. I stayed up too late last night and as a result wanted as much sleep as I could extract this morning.
I did eat the pork rinds last night so that should be added on. They were pretty good but I probably won't keep them around.
Another rando thought, I think I may plan to eat lunch out (either a burger sans bun or breakfast) and dinner at home for a while. There will be exceptions -- the occasional taco monday or pizza friday at dinner or lunch at home -- but I think this would be a reasonable balance.
Breakfast: Coffee
Went dark roast, was pretty wired today for whatever reason.
Lunch: Omelet with bacon/sausage/ham/cheese/sour cream, 2 slices homemade wheat with butter
A place I don't go that often but which I'm going to put back in the rotation. This was pricy ($11) but large and good. I should skip the toast but I do like their homemade wheat and I'm pretty sure they use actual butter.
Dinner: Spicy bacony beans plus 4 oz diced ham and some shredded cheese
Also: 1 square 92% cacao dark chocolate
Just because. As you might expect the 92% is anything but sweet.
Exercise: Nope.
