Bring It Home To A Close

Sunday, December 31, 2023

TGIS.  No not that one, the other one.  And I'm super glad that tomorrow is a holiday.  It's almost noon and I'm finally about to kick myself out the door.  I have a bunch of work stuff I'd like finish at a reasonable hour, since I want no part whatsoever of being out and about tonight.  It's amateur night.

A stray thought I had this morning - I am optimistic about beaujolais being a wine I can drink without the nasty side effects (aka leg cramps) I have had in the past.  Had some at Thanksgiving and two consecutive nights at Christmas without issue, though of course there was also a metric ton of food involved which could have possibly covered up any issues.  I guess we will see in the new year, I bought another bottle and will crack it once I am out of Lite beers.

Otherwise, it was a fairly unpleasant start to the day.  Woke up at 2:45 to get rid of some water, did go back to sleep quickly (moved to recliner) and did not fully wake again until 8:00.  Despite the eight hours plus I felt like ass.  When I finally got around to checking it's another morning of high BP, lowish pulse, though that only explains some things.  I'm also apparently deathly allergic to something environmental.  Maybe all the dust I stirred up yesterday.

Breakfast:  Buttermilk pancakes with butter and maple syrup, bacon, spicy low sodium V-8, coffee

A monster stack of cakes and I have one just like it for tomorrow.  And I want to figure out if there is anything I should do with the last 2C of buttermilk I have left.  The cakes were above average, nice and fluffy.

Lunch:    Jersey Mike's #56, later chips and onion dip, mexican coke

Very tasty.

Dinner:  Pepperoni bacon pizza, mexican coke, York peppermint patty

Elite pizza.

Going to open a bottle of cava that's been in the fridge for a looong time.  TBD if it's drinkable.

Edit:  It was.  Nice.  Also had some Cheezits.

Exercise:  Nope.   It would have been a huge struggle this morning even if I had been awake given how lousy I felt.

Stupid Traditional Meals And Stuff

Saturday, December 30, 2023

TGIS.  Or maybe, as I first typed, TIGS.  Go tigs.

Not the most restful night.  Sinuses are being cranky, ate too much and too late again, just all around not good.   But I am enjoying mapping some things out for the new year and I am ready to go.  Almost.  I know I will be annoyed with myself -- heck, I already am -- for not stopping the slide earlier, but so it goes.  I have a couple more 'traditional' meals to get out of my system.

Breakfast:   Lazy bagels w veggie cream cheese, coffee

Good as always, not good for me or for satiety, as always.  Done.  Also feeling accomplished since I managed to clean out the spice/baking cupboard and the fridge while they were baking.

Lunch:   Italian beef, fries w ketchup, later some Cheez Its

These fries do not need ketchup.  They got some, tho.

Dinner:  Deluxe pizza, 355ml mexican coke

Not their finest but still tasty.  Check another one off.

Exercise:  Nope.  Active day but no trip to the Y.  Looking forward to changing that too.

Coffee Nap Required

Friday, December 29, 2023

TGIF, the last one of '23.  Yay.

Not much to observe today.  Woke up at, ugh, 3:00.  Got back to sleep about 4:30 - after a cup of coffee.  Let's hear it for coffee naps.  Feel decent, just sluggish due to fatness.  Speaking of which, saw myself on video and yikes.  It's bad.

Breakfast:  Panera asiago bagels and cream cheese, coffee

Yeah.

Lunch:  Popeye's spicy chicken, Wendy's JBC, fries and ketchup

Yuh.  You know, I observed that I'm really getting enthusiastic about doing some home cooking.

Dinner:  Soup, cheese toast, Meijer spicy guac tortilla chips, caramel peanut clusters

Cleaned up some stuff that was in the fridge.

Exercise:  Nope.

Just Making It More Challenging

Thursday, December 28, 2023

You know what, packing on the pounds before going hardcore is a really stupid strategy.

Oh well.  Too many good things -- err, tasty might be a better word than "good" -- to eat.  Fat kid gonna fat kid.  Until he stops fat kidding.  Which is happening next week.

Another day where I was much later getting to sleep than I would like.  Made it through the day okay, but I'm pretty tired this evening.  Hopefully can crash earlier, though there are many things running through my head that I would like to do.  We'll see if I do any of them.

Breakfast:  Pancakes, bacon, spicy low sodium V-8, coffee

Yup.   Out of the previously made pancakes, will probably make some this weekend to use up a thing of buttermilk.

Lunch:  2x McDouble, Dr Pepper

Unusually good for McDoubles.

Lunch #2:   Deluxe Sub, Sprite

A good sandwich.  Some things I will miss.

Dinner:  Qdoba brisket bowl, 12 oz Miller Lite, Parmesan ranch chips, choc peanut caramel clusters

It wasn't an impressive effort by my burrito artists but it was still fine.  I can see eating the very occasional Qdoba in the future so it's not a last last but it'll be the last regularly constructed brisket bowl for a while.

Exercise:  Nope.  Schedule still off, will need to work on fixing.

Nearing Hard Stop

Wednesday, December 27, 2023

Moving right along, another morning that has been relatively quiet which is good.

Oddly enough it feels like I slept relatively well last night.  I was very late getting to sleep, but was not still exhausted when I woke up.  I was able to get moving -- late, of course -- without much of an issue.  Will need to fix the schedule, but just not feeling lousy - no headache either - was a nice win.

Breakfast:  Pancakes w butter and maple syrup, bacon, coffee

Yup.  Easy and fast when it's all hanging out in the fridge ready to be warmed up.

Lunch:  Wendy's single, son of baconator, fries w ketchup, choc peanut caramel clusters

This bag of clusters goes on and on and on.  Yeesh.

Dinner:  Ham cheese salami sub, garlic cheese bread w pizza sauce, Mexican Coke, choc drizzle caramel corn

Done with the sub place.  Check.  Now to be done with these holiday treats!  I have to say the mexican coke was highly enjoyable.

Exercise:  Nope.

Minor Aftermath

Tuesday, December 26, 2023

Thank goodness for a relatively quiet morning.  I had a couple of work things so it wasn't completely stress-free but the phone was relatively quiet and in general the pace more relaxed.  Which is a very good thing - I was slow to get up, late getting in.  I crashed hard and about as early as I could hope and got more than eight hours ... I think.  You just never know with sleep.  But it was definitely more than eight hours in bed and in the recliner.

Only a small headache this morning, which while annoying was not awful and it went away pretty quickly.  I did some light googling last night and I suspect that this problem, like so many more, would go away if I lost a bunch of weight.  And got into better shape.  So we'll be working on those.

Breakfast:  2x Egg McMuffin, coffee

Audible, always edible.

Lunch:  Leftover sausage strata, chips and onion dip

Once again very tasty.

Dinner:   Turkey dinner part 2, chocolate peanut caramel clusters

No rolls tonight, otherwise the same stuff.

Exercise:  Nope.

Suitably Merry

Monday, December 25, 2023
Christmas Day

And a pleasant day it is so far.  I crashed immediately last night in the recliner, knowing that I needed to prepare the sausage strata at some point - I elected to do it early this morning so I'm running on five hours of (much needed) sleep.  But other than another headache when I woke up it's going fine.

Breakfast:  Almond banket, coffee

A holiday tradition.

Brunch:  Sausage strata, grapefruit, nut bread w butter, coffee cake

Another holiday tradition.

Snack:  A couple chocolate peanut clusters, leftover sausage toasts

Cleanup.

Dinner:  Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, rolls w butter, cranberry, jello salad, 12 oz Miller Lite, beaujolais nouveau, a couple sugar cookies

Feast.  All good, though I nearly ruined the potatoes - they were done a little early so I covered them and set them aside ... on a hot burner.  I mixed up which burner was supposed to be on.  Fortunately I figured it out before too much damage was done.

Exercise:  Nope.  Again disappointed, it's about as warm as it ever gets on Christmas.  Edit:  Yes!  3 holes, walking.  Found time to get out.

Not Sure About That

Sunday, December 24, 2023
Christmas Eve Day

A festive day.  I have spent the morning preparing my typical appetizers for our family holiday party.  Plenty of dishes and kitchen cleanup involved and more to come.  But that's okay.  It's worth it.

The day did not get off to a great start.  Woke up at 3:00, moved to recliner, went right back to sleep.  Woke up again at 7:00, later than I had hoped.  Felt lousy.  Headache.  Checked my blood pressure after showering and YIKES.  Concerning.

As of now, early afternoon, I feel fine.  It didn't take long to feel better, but still.  Not sure about that.

Breakfast:  Sausage patties, Meijer cinnamon rolls, coffee

Cleanup on both items.  I also had an orange later that has been hanging out in the fridge.

Lunch:   Sausage toast, bacon crackers, nuts, candy, cheese and crackers, lemonade

Holiday spread, as usually had quite a bit and a lot of different things.

Dinner:  Beef tenderloin, salad, bread w cheese fondue, glass of red wine, Coors light

Late dinner, kept the quantities very modest, all very good.

Exercise:  Nope.  Active, but not actively exercising.  Disappointing that I didn't get outside.

Nearing The Line

Saturday, December 23, 2023

Almost there.  And that's a good thing -- with the additional money spent this morning I am official way over budget.  Gifts are only somewhat over, but add food purchases and good grief.  It'll be a very good idea to eat down my freezer stocks and buy no junk for a while!

Otherwise, today is looking like a fairly standard Saturday.  I'll do the laundry and the rest of the weekend chores.  Maybe get in some time at work.  The only real difference is I'll wrap the rest of my gifts (only 7 or 8 left to do), pack those up for tomorrow, and I'll get ready for tomorrow's cooking.  Which reminds me, I need to pull out a recipe.  I've been doing a lot of winging it lately and it would be a good idea to make sure I haven't forgotten anything when making something I only make once a year.

Also of note, I had the worst blood pressure reading yet this morning.  It was frankly a little scary.  Didn't feel great either, though I've been fine once I got up and starting moving.  I should take it again and see if it has gone down any.

Breakfast:  CF sausage patties, then lazy bagels with veggie cream cheese, coffee

Ate in stages.  Waves.  Whatever.  Repeatedly.  Also had Meijer cinnamon rolls later.

Lunch:   Taco salad, al pastor, chips and onion dip

Didn't have high expectations but it was delicious.

Dinner:  Leftover home pizza, 12 oz Miller Lite, Blain's choc peanut caramel clusters

The pizza from last week was meh.  Whatever.  It's gone.

Exercise:  Nope.  I was awake plenty early, then I was not.  And I definitely needed the extra sleep.

Dropping Off

 Friday, December 22, 2023

It was notable how activity dropped off after lunch yesterday.  I managed to stay busy almost through the end of the day but it was certainly not the most productive one I've ever had.

Today will be largely consumed with trying to figure out the rest of the Christmas shopping, plus some wrapping, cleaning and that sort of thing.  I should also fit in some hours of work, but I want to pick out a time where I'll be undisturbed (and won't bother anyone else) so it'll probably be afternoon.

And it remains very much to be determined how much I actually get accomplished.  It's easy to imagine great feats while sitting in the recliner, less easy to actually get up and do stuff.

Breakfast:  Pancakes, CF sausage patties, coffee

Pancakes from the freezer.  I have a thing of buttermilk to use up so I'll probably make a fresh batch tomorrow and eat those for the next week or so - something I will not want to have on hand for the strict LC.

Lunch:  Chipotle barbacoa bowl, CFA spicy, Peppermint chip shake

Audibled due to extended holiday shopping.

Snack:  Chips and onion dip

Dinner:  Soup and cheese toast, 12 oz Miller Lite, Cadbury caramello chocolate

Tasty.

Exercise:  Nope.  Was awake at the normal time, but did not go out.

Pushing The Limit

Thursday, December 21, 2023

Too many gainz.  Too much eating planned before the end of the year.  Not good.  Will be a high number on January 2, going to need to work hard to reverse it.

Another bumpy morning.  Woke up earlier than usual due to a vivid nightmare.  Completely unreal, of course, but vivid.  Needed more sleep, got more sleep.  Need to get back to it.

Breakfast:  CF sausage, bread and butter, coffee

Again.

Lunch:  Jimmy Johns #9, salt and vinegar chips, diet lemonade, mixed nuts, mixed chocolate

Holiday party.

Dinner:  Jersey Mikes #56, 12 oz Miller Lite, Cadbury caramello chocolate

Love that sandwich, will be doing the home bunless version soon.

Exercise:  Nope

Live And In Color

Wednesday, December 20, 2023

One more workday after today and then it's a holiday long weekend.  Yay.

Had an incredibly vivid dream last night.  I remembered more than I usually do, but still not as much as I might like.  It involved being part of a foursome that decided to rob a store, I backed out before it happened and spent the time when it was supposed to go down wandering around an embellished version of the town I live in, during a major festival week.  It was truly fascinating.  It added bits and pieces to all sorts of places, but the basic locale was recognizable.  And even more interesting, some of the features of places that are not quite true-to-life were modified in the same way that they have been in at least one or two previous dreams that I also remembered.  Wild stuff.

Anyway, I needed more sleep this morning, so I got some.  Not good for the exercise plan, but it was definitely helpful for productivity.  Hopeful that eating less (and better) in the evenings will allow a consistent pattern of crashing earlier, sleeping well and being able to get up and out the door daily.

Breakfast:  Bacon, bread and butter, coffee

Apparently I forgot a photo.  Had extra bacon, for some reason I miscounted and was left with one more than I expected.  This is not a complaint.

Lunch:  Chipotle barbacoa bowl

On the go.  Was tasty.  Another 'last one' checked off.  Speaking of which, I had a slice of gas station pizza and Sprite for a snack later

Dinner:  Extra cheesy Cheezits, 12 oz Miller Lite, deluxe home mini pizza, Justin's PB cups

Determined that these are the best CheezeIts.  Reheated the pizza in the air fryer, which turned out okay and not better than that.

Exercise:  Nope.  Fail.

Somehow Less

Tuesday, December 19, 2023

Another day closer.  Hey, at least the scale was not up despite yesterday.  Thank goodness for the power of tacos.

The eating today has again not gone that well.  Going to pay for it tomorrow I am afraid.

Breakfast:  Bacon, bread and butter, coffee

Yup.  A very tasty breakfast, if a bit light on the butter today.

Lunch:  Leftover egg/chorizo dish, hash browns in olive oil

Yup.  Tasty.  A little different reheated in the air fryer but it worked fine and was notably quicker than the oven.  Now I want to try reheating leftover ovenburgers and other LC things in the air fryer.

Also had a couple holiday treats at work.  Nothing major.

Later:  CFA spicy, frosted lemonade

Dinner:  Subway meatball, 12 oz Miller Lite, Cadbury caramello chocolate

Yeesh.  Okay, that's another thing crossed of the list of things I had before the end of the year and don't need to have again annnnnny time soon.

Exercise:  Yes.  Standard bare minimum on the treadmill.

Accelerate Doing Not Just Planning

Monday, December 18, 2023

I have come to a point of acceptance with the need to change what I eat.  I just cannot continue to half-ass it, especially when very little ass at all ends up being applied.  Too much junk, too much binging, way too many carbs of all kinds.  It's not easy to make the change during the holiday season but hoo boy did yesterday remind me of the urgency of the situation.  Just an awful day of eating.  And I felt it this morning.

Managed to stay on schedule but did not kick myself out the door.  Bad weather morning certainly dampened my enthusiasm to drive anywhere but the reality is I just didn't feel very good and that was enough to carry the day.  Need to (a) eat a lot less tonight, (b) finish earlier and (c) get more sleep.  Put those things together and I should get back on track in the morning.

Breakfast:  CF garlic pepper bacon, bread w butter, coffee

Tasty.  Happy with how the bacon turned out - I tweaked the time and temp when I did it yesterday.  Fresh loaf of bread from a local bakery, nice clean ingredients.

Lunch:  Chorizo egg bake (w mexicheese, onion and jalapeno), hash browns, banana

Really I could have just cooked the chorizo ahead and added it to scrambled eggs instead of doing the full egg dish prebake and reheat.  Turned out very tasty this way, just probbaly saves a few minutes to do a fresh scramble.  Or, alternatively, I could reheat in the air fryer.  Maybe I'll try that tomorrow.

Dinner:  3x mexican 2x american tacos, 12 oz Miller Lite, avo oil chips, cadbury caramello chocolate

Tasty as usual.  Another thing I'll kinda miss going strict LC.

Exercise:  Nope.  Didn't go.  I did do a little work-related walking but not enough.

Things That Do Not Add Up Day Of Rest Edition

Sunday, December 17, 2023

One of my ongoing goals is to find a way, somehow, to have Sunday be a true day of rest.  I just honestly have no idea if I'll get get there.  By way of illustration, I was very busy yesterday.  I hit the grocery store, exercised, fixed meals, meal prepped this week's lunches (soup) and dinners (pizza), did the laundry, did some of the weekly cleaning, did a couple cabinets, went to the farm, did multiple loads of dishes and hand wash, did some Christmas shopping, etc etc etc.  It was a productive day.  BUT.  I didn't come close to getting everything done.  I didn't do the last dishes.  I have stuff cluttering the table.  I didn't bring in the rest of the Christmas decor that I retrieved from storage since it started to rain.  I didn't clean out the fridge or do about half of my weekly cleaning chores.  And, most importantly, I didn't get in any time at the office where, at a bare minimum, I need to take care of my personal mail and pick everything up before another week hits.

Guess when I have to do all that stuff that wasn't done?  Today!  Sunday!  It's no wonder I rarely go to church and there is not much rest to be had.  At least there shouldn't be, sometimes I just burn out.

Presumably part of the solution is to move some of the tasks to weekdays so the weekends are not so chocked full.  And some of that is, in fact, doable.  I just do not know if I can shift enough stuff to weekdays to ever have a true day of rest on Sunday.

Breakfast:  Cheese toast, coffee

I got a little carried away cleaning up the loaf of bread.  As it worked out, I cleaned up an open cheese too.

Late morning snack:  2x TB sausage breakfast tacos.  Tiny but tasty.  Also had a bite of the chorizo and egg strata I made for the next couple days.

Lunch:  Wendy's 2x son of baconator

Later, cleaned up the chips and onion dip

Dinner:  Roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots.  Vanilla cake w ice cream

Later, 2x big mac, sprite, nice peppermint patties

Exercise:  Nope.  Day of rest.  I'll have to settle for a zillion chores.

Many Stops Coming

Saturday, December 16, 2023

TGIS.  I know I say that every week, but it's especially true today.  Long week.  Today will be a busy day, but weekends are very much different.

Off to a solid start, got the groceries, got the walk in, started up the laundry.  It's so nice outside that I was very tempted to double up the walk, but I'll probably just go do errands and "enjoy" it that way.  I'm sure it's going to be crazy out there with Christmas shoppers.  Among other stops I'm hoping to hit the farm to restock my sausage and bacon supplies.

Breakfast:  Lazy bagels with veggie cream cheese, coffee

Extra tasty today.  Definitely an item that's getting the axe when I start stricter LC.

Lunch:  Italian beef, fries

Audibled.  Later, some chips and onion dip.

Dinner:  Home pizza w pep gr beef mush onion jala, 12 oz Miller Lite, Nice peppermint patties

Spent a lot of time making pizza.  It was very tasty.

Exercise:   Yes.  Just the basic treadmill walk of a mile or so in 20 minutes.  It wasn't painful today and it was nice to not feel the pressure to rush to work afterward.

Worth Lots

Friday, December 15, 2023

TGIF.  Running very low on zip.

On the plus side, almost to the weekend and the scale didn't punish me for last night's latest serious failure.  I'll have a ton to do tomorrow but just being a weekend is worth a lot.

Breakfast:  Oatmeal, coffee

Standard oatmeal means soaked, with butter and maple syrup.  Probably will not be a regular feature after the holidays.

Lunch:  Soup, cheese toast

So good I had it again today.

Dinner:  Bellatoria ultimate deluxe frozen pizza, 12 oz Miller Lite, Nice cheese popcorn, nice caramel peanut clusters

Need to dial it back.  A bunch.

Exercise:  Nope.  Particularly disappointing, as I woke up in time and had ample opportunity to kick myself out the door.  I definitely could have used some extra sleep (and I got some), but it wasn't one of those days where I just cannot possibly make it.  Need to be better prepared to handle days like today where the impending stress of morning work is a tipping point toward no walking.

After The Nightly Meltdown

Thursday, December 14, 2023

It's been some kind of struggle lately.  I do okay with breakfast and lunch many days but then melt down completely in the evening.  Not really sure why.   I just have this compulsion to eat and eat and eat.   It's horrible and it needs to stop.

Really, I am fairly convinced that I'll need to go full hardcore low carb after the holidays.  I'm just not sure that anything else will keep the appetite in check sufficiently.  And of course I hope that as in past forays I end up feeling pretty good.  But we'll see about that.

Otherwise, pretty standard day.  I could just this checklist style, slept okay, woke up about 4:30, pushed out the door, work ok.

Breakfast:  Soaked oatmeal w butter and maple syrup, banana, coffee

Yup.  Apparently I forgot the photo.  Was in a bit of a rush.

Lunch:  Soup, cheese toast

Had extra toast, enjoyed it.

Dinner:  Jersey Mikes #56, Maiz lime avo oil tortilla chips, 12 oz Miller Lite

Excessive.

Exercise:  Yes.  Just the basic minimum, 20 minutes walking.  Treadmilling still very boring.  I would almost definitely go further outside.

Bad Starts

Wednesday, December 13, 2023

Ugh.  Just a rough, rough start.  Was a little late getting to sleep, then slept horribly.  Could not shake the nightmares and the quality was just terrible.  Moved to the recliner at 2:30, finally went into a deep sleep about 4:00.  Needless to say I was not getting up on time.  And I didn't.

Very much blamed on pizza plus working late.  Awful combo.

And the rest of today?  Not a whole lot better.  Though at least it's over.

Breakfast:  CF sausage, V-8, coffee

Again.  Now out of sausage, need to restock.  Dunno if I'll restock the V-8, though I do enjoy it.

Lunch:  Deluxe sub

On the go.  Tasty.

Dinner:  Subway meatball, 12 oz Miller Lite

A very sandwichy day.  Which was not at all what I had planned.  Do better tomorrow.

Exercise:  Nope.  FAIL.

Inspired Organize

Tuesday, December 12, 2023

Good start to today.  Got up, out the door without issue, the treadmilling was a bit less tedious than usual.  And most importantly I was inspired at work, came up with an organization strategy that I think just might work to help move things forward more efficiently.  I'm unusually optimistic.

Breakfast:  CF sausage patties, V-8, coffee

Again.  If I can restock this weekend CF sausage and bacon will be my weekday breakfast staples.

Lunch:  Soup, grilled cheese

Solid as always.   Have a couple more soups before I get to the batch I made this past weekend.

Dinner:  Dominos pep ham pizza

Doh.  Office food.  Long day.

Exercise:  Yes.  Treadmill, the usual minimum of just over a mile, just over 20 minutes.  Didn't go above and beyond, but I'm pleased that I got down there and did something.

Doombloat

Monday, December 11, 2023

As expected I paid the price for yesterday.  I dunno why weekends have been so hard lately.  Just absolutely out of control binging.  Awful.  I have been dragging my feet on adopting a full LC approach but I really need to do so.  It just may not happen until after the holidays.  It would be helpful if I could hold things in check.

At least I managed to kick myself out the door this morning.  Wasn't too excited but I got it done.  Happy about that, it would be annoying to start the week off on a bad note, especially when I did not get in office time this weekend.  Thankfully I had a pretty light morning.

Breakfast:  CF sausage patties, V-8, coffee

I do like the CF sausage, it's tasty.

Lunch:  Leftover busy day casserole, cheese toast

Didn't take a ton of leftovers, but it was enough.  Carbapalooza for lunch.

Dinner:  2x mexican 2x american tacos, 12 oz Miller Lite, lemon cookies and Tillamook vanilla ice cream

Getting toward the end of my beer stocks, thinking about giving it up (at home) for a while.  Not a huge expense or anything but maybe it would be a good idea.

Also cleaned up some bar chips w bar cheese.

Exercise:  Yes.  20 minutes/1 mile on the treadmill, aka the bare minimum.  Was very late this morning so I didn't top that off with any puttering around in the weight room.   Not today.

Thirteen Hours And Then Some

Sunday, December 10, 2023

A very good thing it is still the weekend.  I fully expected to crash hard last night -- it was a long day and I was dragging pretty good trying to do things around the house before dinner.  Went to bed early and was out.  I got up about the usual time, disposed of some liquid and went right back to sleep.  No alarm set, figured I would let my body dictate when I got up.  Finally did at 9:30.  Yikes.  That's thirteen plus hours of sleep.  Not all of it was the highest quality, but quite a bit was.

A pleasant side effect of the long sleep is I burned off the way too many calories consumed yesterday.  I have devised plans for the next couple weeks, going to do a little dinner experimenting before the end of the year.  That's the hardest thing to nail down.

Ok, let's get going.  It very much remains to be seen how much I get done today.  Early returns are ... not optimistic.

Breakfast:  Lazy bagels with veggie cream cheese, coffee

Yeah.  Going to have to give 'em up.

Lunch:  Breakfast sandwich (eggs, cheddar, avocado), jala ranch snack mix

Late lunch, unsurprisingly.  Today is just WAY off.  Tasty.

Dinner:  Busy day casserole, cheesy green beans, crescent rolls w butter, NSA peaches, 12 oz Miller Lite, lemon cookies

Forgot the photo.

Also:  Big Mac, mcchicken.  Idiot.

Exercise:  Nope.  Rest day.
