Keep On Flushin

Tuesday, January 25, 2022

More water departs, you gotta love that.  Otherwise, a routine weekday.  Still way off on the schedule, made zero progress toward fixing it.  Hoping to break through the next barrier on the scale this week, we will see.  I have a couple different dinners lined up, hopefully they aren't too damaging.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup and toast, Good Culture cottage cheese w pineapple

A new thing!  Never had this kind of cottage cheese before, it was quite tasty.  Not many carbs either, it's just a little pineapple.  Would buy again, though at $2 for a little 100 calorie container probably not super often.

Dinner:  Barbacoa, spicy bacony beans, cilantro lime rice, mexicheese, salsa, sour cream and guac; 12 oz All Day IPA

Another new thing!  A chipotle bowl knockoff.  Turned out to be more food that I should eat in the evenings.  Didn't have any fajita peppers.  Did have peppers and onions in the beans tho, so should be a fair trade.  Turned out quite good and had a lot of kick, I got a little carried away with the chipotles in adobo.  Planning on another bowl tomorrow night, will try freezing the rest of the rice.

May also have a handful of mixed nuts, not sure yet.  Edit:  A very small handful.  And the heel of my new loaf of bread with butter.

Exercise:  Nope.  Sigh.  I'm ready to be done with wintery winter.  If I can fix the schedule I have an idea though.

Still Very Much A Dip

Monday, January 24, 2021

Dunno why I crave chips and onion dip.  But I do, and good grief did I eat a ton of it over the weekend.  Finished them off yesterday so I should at least get in a fairly clean week.  Hopefully.  The good news is that I didn't take a big hit on the scale yesterday when I ate a bunch -- lunch out, big dinner and lots o chips.  I did pay for it a little, eating late meant lots of snoring.  Was tired this morning.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup and toast, 2 hard boiled eggs

Yesterday's soup, an ever so slighly smaller quantity than my usual bowl - bought some new containers to try.  Added the eggs, impulse buy when I did my shopping at the unusual store.  Nice add.

Dinner:  2 tacos mexican style, 2 american style, 12 oz All Day IPA, grapefruit, mixed nuts

Taco Monday.  Cleaned up the weekend's grapefruit too.

Exercise:  Nope.  Barely managed to drag myself out of bed at 7:30, need to stop going to sleep after midnight.  Too wired last night.

Nothing Interesting To See Here

Sunday, Jaunary 23, 2022

Another day.  At least it's still the weekend.  I was planning on lots of office time but instead I think I'm going to visit Spectrum and see if they'll let me swap out my modem.  I'm tired of the crappy internet.  Might buy a new router while I'm at it.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Not real hungry this morning.  Had planned to cook some stuff but decided not to bother.  I'll make it for dinner later in the week.

Lunch:  Chipotle bowl with barbacoa, same as last week

Not planned, I ended up having to visit Spectrum, but at least doing so (plus buying a new router) appears to have solved the problem and improved performance.  Yay.  As for the bowl, it was tasty but the burrito artist was not as generous as the one who made last week's entree.  Oh well.

Snack:  Chips and onion dip

A little clean up.  Okay, a lot of clean up.  Way too many.

Dinner:  Chuck roast, box potatoes, carrots, gravy, butterflake rolls w butter, peaches, 12 oz Miller Lite

Notably good tonight.  Ate way too much of course.

Exercise:  Nope.   Not even super active today.

Such A Dip

Saturday, January 22, 2022

TGIS.  So much more than I TGIF, although F eve is a worthy contender.  Anyway, I have a massive list of stuff to do this weekend and ehhh not so much pep this morning.  Oh well.  Breakfast is done, let's see what I can get busy doing.

Breakfast:  3 eggs shirred in cream, 1 Meijer sausage patty, toast w butter, grapefruit, coffee

Good but not great.   I'm not getting the eggs exactly the way I like them.  Other recipes seem to bake them at a much higher temp, I'm going to mess around with that next time.  Toast was also meh, glad to be done with that packet.  Making a fresh loaf is on the agenda for today.

Lunch:  Keto Bowl with ground beef

A fave.

Dinner:  Home thin crust pizza w italian sausage, onion and red bell pepper, 24 oz All Day IPA

A fantastic pizza, didn't take much effort - I had dough and sausage in the freezer (thawed), snagged a little of the veg from the batch of spicy beans that is in proces.  EZ game.

Exercise:  Nope.  Same story.  Schedule way off, slept way too late, cold and windy out there anyway.  I'll be Saturday active (though I won't be going to storage I don't think) just nothing specific enough to count.

Breaking At Eleven

Friday, January 21, 2022

This just in, if you eat less, you lose weight.  We'll have the full story on the late news.

A new recent years low this morning.  I think I'm only seven pounds above my since-the-beginning low, wow it's been about ten years on this blog.  I do kinda wish I kept track further back ... at least I know that I have a long way to go.  It'll be a while even to get to my goal, though it would be swell to put the recent years low in the rear view.  It will definitely feel like an accomplishment.

Brought home a spare router to try and fix my unstable internet problem this weekend.  Fingers crossed.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup and toast, 4 strips Meijer bacon

Leftover bacon cleanup from the weekend.  Need to clean out the fridge since I'll be hitting the grocery store tonight and I have several cooking projects in the plans for the weekend.

Dinner:  Spicy beans w extra sharp cheddar, Great Lakes pickled jalapeno chips and Country Fresh french onion dip, 12 oz All Day IPA

Grocery trip #1, beans, grocery trip #2, chips and dip with a beer.  Friday night TGIFFFS.  I'm going to start going to store #2 more regularly, they have a lot of stuff I haven't seen elsewhere.  The prices are higher, but not so much that it'll break the bank and the meat I got was actually less expensive than store #1 (Meijer).   I really need to hit the farm and restock my supply of good clean ground beef - Meijer was out of the kind I have been buying which is clean, just not local.  They were out of a lot of stuff, actually.

Exercise:  Nope.  Slept pretty well, woke up about 6 which is a small improvement.  I'd be a lot more frustrated if it were not bitterly cold out there.  I hate walking on ice and when it's zero windchill or worse.

Fail Fatigue

Thursday, January 20, 2022

Not that kind of fail.  Computer fail.  Tech fail.  I'm getting annoyed.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  NOPE

That's right, NOPE.  Work made me go straight thru until 2:30, at which point I figured I may as well keep going and just wait until dinner.  Not a huge deal.

Dinner:  Leftover ham and potato soup, 12 oz Miller Lite, Alexia potato puffs with ranchified sour cream, a few mixed nuts and a glass of whole milk

Last of the soup.  Too bad, it was exquisite.  Will have to make again.  Tots were better with the sour cream than with ketchup.  Probably didn't hurt that I dialed back the cook time a little.  Tasty.

Exercise:  Nope.  I was a little more alert this morning but still didn't get up before 6:30 since I went to sleep after midnight again.  Still need to shift.

Humped

Wednesday, January 19, 2022

Trudging along.  Not a lot of inspo today.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup and toast

Standard.  Quite satisfactory.

Dinner:  Ham and potato soup, 12 oz All Day IPA, Alexia potato puffs w ketchup, a few mixed nuts

Only one soup left after tonight.  Too bad.  Tonight's air fryer experiment was the tater tots.  They turned out good, though the taste wasn't particularly impressive (first time trying the Alexia), they were fine, just not distinctive.  Made way too many, next time I don't just dump directly into the basket.  Oops.

Add:  A glass of whole milk.

Exercise:  Nope.  Schedule remains off.  Need to fix.

A Very Airfryer Something

Tuesday, January 18, 2022

We will see if the internet issues have been resolved.  It was stable for a while last night (after another reset) but who knows.  It is certainly annoying.  Next step if it is not working is to try a different router.

Edit:  NOPE.  It particularly hates Google sites, notably google photos.  Oh, and blogger.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Ham and potato soup, toast

Wow, that really turned out delicious.  Not all that much different than my regular soup, just ham instead of ground beef and no tomato, add cream.  I should have "finished" it before adding the cream, that way I could have frozen some of it and just added cream when reheating.  Doh.  Oh well, I don't really have any room in the freezer anyway.  That's a project for this weekend, to get some stuff out of there.

Dinner:  Ham and potato soup, 12 oz All Day IPA, air fried dill pickles with ranched sour cream

The soup was so good (and I have so much in the fridge) that I just doubled up.  And then I played with the new toy, an air fryer that arrived over the weekend.  Quite impressed with how the pickles turned out.

Exercise:  Nope.  Schedule is getting worse, not better.  Could not get to sleep last night, was after midnight before I did.  Felt lousy as usual (since winter) when I got up, the dry air and draftiness are a problem I haven't quite solved.

Overriced

Monday, January 17, 2022

Slow and sluggish this morning, which isn't much of a surprise.  Ate too much last night.  The mental side of things is still a struggle sometimes ... it would be so much easier if I got a strong satiety signal.  Or any such signal.  Preferably early.  Anyway, I was pleased that the damage wasn't too bad considering the ton of rice and other starch I consumed.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup and toast

Standard.  Toast from the freezer (defrosted overnight) since I didn't make a loaf yesterday.  On the to do list.

Dinner:  2 Mexican 2 American tacos, 12 oz All Day IPA

Also quite standard.  And tasty.

Exercise:  Nope.  No chance I was getting up.  Frustrating.

Weird Ass Internet

Sunday, January 16, 2022

Home internet continues to be crap.  Annoying.  Constant cutouts and unavailability.  Grrr.

Pleased to not have a big gain after yesterday, I defintely ate too much and not good for me stuff.  But it was all tasty so at least there is that.

Breakfast:   3 eggs shirred in cream, butter, cheddar cheese.  2 strips Meijer bacon, grapefruit, Meijer spicy veg juice, coffee

Probably the first time I've ever done shirred eggs, delicious even though I definitely overcooked them.  I did not trust that they were done when they were supposed to be done - may have just used a bit too much cream so they looked not done.  Anyway, will definitely eat again.

Lunch:  Chipotle bowl with barbacoa, rice, pintos, fajita veg, hot salsa, cheese and sour cream

Was going to get a keto bowl.  NOPE.  Closed on Sundays.  Never thought to check.  Oh well.  Went to Chipotle thinking they may still have brisket.  NOPE.  Barbacoa was delicious though.

Dinner:   Broiled chicken, spanish rice, refried beans, chips and salsa, a few Doritos, yellow cake with vanilla ice cream

Birthday party.  Ate way too much.

Exercise:  Nope.  Another frigid morning.  I did manage to get up closer to the usual time so hopefully tomorrow.  I have been super active today, moved a lot of stuff around, lots of trips up and down the stairs, some heavy lifting.

Wild Card Saturday Dunno If Super

 Saturday, January 15, 2022

Having some internet issues at home lately.   It's getting annoying.  Just tried resetting the router, that does not seem to have solved it.  Next up, the modem.  If that doesn't work may be time to see whether I should be calling Spectrum.

Breakfast:  2 egg omelet with cheddar, guac and sour cream, 3 strips Meijer bacon, toast w butter, grapefruit, Meijer spicy veg juice

Another feast.  All very good.

Lunch:  Smoked meatloaf, mashed potatoes w gravy, roll w butter

Shopped longer than planned so I picked up lunch from the semi-local BBQ place.  The first place I tried was closed so this was plan B.  Good, a bit much and not so good for me.

Dinner:  Home thin crust sausage pizza, 12 oz All Day IPA

Much smaller dough ball than usual.  Still didn't roll it as thin as I could have, but whatever.  Produced a nice plate-sized pizza and tasted great.

Exercise:  Nope.  Active day, did a bunch of non-grocery shopping and stuff around the house, but no formal exercise.

For Love Of Small Numbers

Friday, January 14, 2022

When it comes to the scale the small the better.  And it's been a great week for the scale.  Truly great.  I have no idea why (other than the lack of blowups) but I like it.  And I hope it continues.  I felt leaner this morning which always enjoyable.  Not to be confused with lean.  Just leaner.  Still could stand to lose a large percentage of my body weight but I'm making progress.  I do wish I had taken some body pictures back in 2013 (I think) when I was at my lowest, I'd be curious to see how it compares as I am getting very close to that number.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup and toast

Yup.

Dinner:  Spicy bacony beans with extra sharp cheddar, Siete nacho grain free chips, 12 oz Miller Lite

Always tasty.  There's a reason I keep eating the same things.

Exercise:  Nope.  We'll see what I can do this weekend to get back on track.  I was awakeish this morning at 5:00 but did not get up or get moving, seems like if I could just tire myself out one evening so I go to bed earlier I could shift back in the proper direction.

Waterbegone

Thursday, January 13, 2022

Well, good news this morning, the holiday weight has departed.  All of it!  Seems like it was mostly water, which was not unexpected.  What's odd is that I've still been getting rid of a decent amount.  I don't expect the big drops to continue (especially given a carby weekend coming up) but it's been nice.  Especially since I have been essentially unable (read: unwilling) to exercise.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup and toast

The usual.  Nothing extra today, hope that doesn't bite me later.  (Edit:  It didn't).

Dinner:  Taco bowl, 12 oz All Day IPA, mixed nuts

Same as the last couple nights.  Fewer nuts, which are now gone.

Exercise:  Nope.  Woke up at 4 but was not awake.  Went back to bed.  Needed it.  Weather was good for once but I saw (later, when there was daylight) that it was rather icy out there.  I should suck it up and walk in the street.  Soon.

Double Everything

Wednesday, January 12, 2022

Weird night.  Woke up at 4:30 and was, well, awake.  Unexpectedly, since I had not gone to bed early.  I eventually dozed off in the recliner (it was a while later) and got quite a bit of additional sleep.  Real sleep too as I had two separate dreams during that block of time.

Also doubled down on the taco meat today.  Wasn't going to pass up a keto bowl when work took me in that direction at lunch time.  And I had a container thawed for dinner.  Guess I could have had something else, but whatever.  I like tacos.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Keto bowl with ground beef

Very good.  And a good thing that I ran out of food, it took several minutes after I left for any sort of satiety message to get to my brain and I would have definitely eaten to the point of discomfort if I'd had a large one in front of me.

Dinner:  Taco bowl, 12 oz All Day IPA, mixed nuts

Same as yesterday.

Exercise:  Nope.

But For Lagging Elements

Tuesday, January 11, 2021

Slowly it's coming back together.  Obviously I would like to have not had it take this long, but you cannot always control what happens.  At least I'm back to feeling okay, which is a positive step.  Now if I can just get the sleep schedule fixed - the last two nights have been big moves in the wrong direction - and it could warm up enough for me to get outside to walk.  Those things will come, I just want it all right now.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup and toast, 2 strips of leftover Meijer bacon

Yup.  Cleaned up the last of the weekend's bacon.

Dinner:  Taco bowl, 12 oz All Day IPA, mixed nuts

Too many nuts.  Otherwise, standard.

Exercise:  Nope.  My schedule is shifted 2+ hours in the wrong direction as it is and I could have easily slept until 9:00 this morning.  Need to work on that.

Embracing Pure Random

 Monday, January 10, 2022

Okay.  Back on track.  Mostly.  I hope.

The human body is weird and ridiculous and random.  I was decidedly not active yesterday.  Ate way too much including lots of bad stuff.  Stayed up way too late.  And yet, some time after dinner my body was like yeah let's get rid of a whole bunch of water and boom away it went.  Yeesh.

No exercise this morning between schedule being way off, lack of sleep and subzero wind chills.  I knew last night that this morning and tomorrow morning are unlikely.  Still a little irritating.  Oh well.  Let's get the eating train back on the tracks and chip away at the schedule first.  At least I felt pretty decent once I got moving, had a little more pep than usual.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup and toast, Cabot reserve sharp cheddar cheese

My dumb ass forgot to bring home my phone.  Oops.  So no photo.  New batch of soup - fantastic.  Smaller quantity as I went to the pint jars hoping for easier storage for a bigger batch.  New loaf of bread, new recipe and pan.  Excellent.  Added the end of a package of cheese, thinking it may not have been needed but we'll see how the afternoon goes.

Dinner:  Tacos, 2 mexican 2 american.  12 oz All Day IPA

Taco Monday strikes again.  It was good.  For whatever reason they packaged them separately.

Also:  Some mixed nuts.  Last of the Christmas treats I believe.

I'll be fine when they're gone.

Exercise:  Nope.  As mentioned above.

People Okay Person Getting Ready

Sunday, January 9, 2022

I was underwhelmed by yesterday's pizza.  Way too bready.  I think my next round of experiments will be with a very thin crust.  So it goes.  Also, on a very related note, rather bloated this morning and I did not sleep well at all.  Hey dummy -- eat way less in the evening and go with less carbs and less cheese.  It's not rocket science.

Going to bake a loaf of bread today for lunches and I otherwise should be set to get back on track tomorrow.  Looking forward to it tbqh.

Breakfast:   Omelet with mushroom, jalapeno, onion and cheddar, guac and sour cream, 3 strips bacon, grapefruit, pancakes w butter and maple syrup, coffee

Whew, another deluxe feast.  Will be dialing it back for future weekends.

Lunch:  Chips and onion dip, 3 slices of pizza toast

Cleanup duty.  Made a loaf of bread (new recipe), so I threw a little sauce and cheese on it.  Toasted up beautifully.

Dinner:  Spicy bacony beans with extra sharp cheddar, 12 oz All Day IPA, Haagen Dazs chocolate ice cream

Such a good batch of beans.  A way-too-much-food day, let's see if I can do soup and tacos tomorrow.

Exercise:  Nope.  Looking a little iffy to get back at it tomorrow, supposed to be extra cold.  We'll see.

Saturday, January 8, 2021

Normalcy.  It's so precious.

Slept OK.  Woke up shortly after 5 and was fine with that.  Got up, even though I did not walk, I did not doze off.  Going to be a long active day of house projects I think.  And cooking.  Lots of that.  Started with a huge breakfast feast.  Managed to wait until 8:30, but I was ready.

Breakfast:  2 eggs over easy, 4 strips bacon, a jalapeno, sour cream, hash browns in olive oil and butter, 1/2 grapefruit, pancakes with butter and maple syrup, coffee

The only thing I didn't have was toast.  Okay, I didn't have any sausages either.  This was great plenty.  All very tasty.

Lunch:  Chips and onion dip

Planned indulgence.

Dinner:  Home pan pizza w meatballs, bacon, onion and mushrooms, 24 oz All Day IPA

Not bad but not the best.  Was worth the effort.

Exercise:  Nope.  Pretty active but no specific exercise.

Normalish Restored

Friday, January 7, 2021

Okay.  I would say that I finally had a day without any real issues.  Even tested (gingerly) a cup of coffee this morning, which went acceptably.  Hopefully all back to normal.  Planning on restful weekend with some soup making and other cooking efforts to get things back on track.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Yes.

Lunch:  CFA spicy chicken, mac and cheese, frosted lemonade.  Also had some no bake cookies

Not exactly good for me.  Couldn't decide what I wanted for lunch and it was just nice to get out, it's been snowing for three days and the sun finally appeared.

Dinner:  Home Run Inn sausage pizza, Haagen Dazs choclate ice cream

Right.

Exercise:  Nope.  Back on track this week.

Blockades Are No Fun Blockhead

Thursday, January 6, 2022

A rocky week continues.  Predictably the system wasn't real pleased with yesterday's dietary choices.  At least the issues there are gradually getting worked out.  But ugh, it would be nice to not have things to complain about.

I was dehydrated last evening so between drinking a ton of water and eating way too much rice a lot of the liquid stuck around.

Breakfast:  None

Just water.  Didn't even test out coffee.

Lunch:   TB chipotle grilled chicken burrito, deluxe sub later

Tried lunching in stages.

Dinner:  Haagen Dazs chocolate ice cream

Nothing sounded good.  Guts weren't too happy going in but seem to be taking this well so far.  We'll see.

Update:  Still going well.  Added a couple slices of toast w butter.

Exercise:  Nope.  No chance.  Winter storm going on too.

Fresh After Purge

Wednesday, January 5, 2022

Losing whatever was bothering my stomach seems to have been a real turning point.  I got a good night of sleep afterward and feel much, much more normal today.  Very happy about that.

Breakfast:   Nice! vanilla wafer cookie bites

Not exactly the breakfast of champions, this was the $1 size package.  Pure sugar.  I should have found something else but I did want to test out the stomach with something non-acidic and this is what I had handy.  Seems to have gone OK.

Lunch:  Jimmy Johns #5 vito, salt and vinegar chips

Nasty day out there, was OK not leaving my desk.  Good to have a normal appetite and I seem to be tolerating it just fine.  Now, let's see if I have enough pep this evening to make a batch of soup.

Dinner:  Yellow rice

And way, way too much of it.

Exercise:  Nope.  Soon, I hope.

Start Mending

Tuesday, January 4, 2022

Well, I am definitely less fatigued after spending nearly 12 hours in bed or the recliner.  That's nice.  I don't really feel bad otherwise, just a little off.  So I'm encouraged.  Also sweated off a few pounds of the retained water.

Breakfast:  Chicken bone broth

Yup.

Lunch:  Soup and toast

Okay.  Drank a soda late afternoon and that proved to be a bad idea.

Dinner:  I don't think I can count it.  Tried eating a couple bites of a burger and a little soup, none of it stayed down.  So:  None.

Ugh.  It was a great relief, honestly, when it finally happened and then I felt better.  I really need to have some Pepto or something on hand.

Exercise:  Nope.

Oh Let's Hope Not

Monday, January 3, 2022

Man, I felt like crap today.  Didn't sleep much at all due to stomach discomfort - it wasn't notably painful, just rather unpleasant.  So I'm extremely tired today.  If I get a decent night's sleep and am still tired tomorrow I'm afraid it may be time for my first ever covid test.  Bleah.  Temp was up a bit but nothing too out of line.  Mostly just feel blah.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Managed about a half cup.  Switched to sparkling water.

Lunch:  Sams' choice chicken bone broth

Was glad I had a box on hand, this was exactly what I needed for "lunch".

Dinner:  2 american tacos, 2 mexican tacos

Testing food.  Seems to be OK so far.  Realized after eating the american tacos that they had cheese and I was planning a no cheese day but oh well.

Exercise:  No chance.

Tonight We Apply The Brakes

Sunday, January 2, 2022

The new year truly begins tomorrow.  I'll have ended up a few more pounds than expected but then again the binge has been worse than expected.  Lesson learned, hopefully next year I can really limit it to the specific feast days instead of having the whole stretch be the wild west when it comes to eating.  Live and learn.  And then get back to getting lean.  Er.  Leaner.

Breakfast:  Coffee

The weather helped in one way, it kept me home.

Lunch:  On the Border tortilla chips w Meijer salsa con queso, Ore Ida onion tots w ketchup

Cleanup, consumed in stages.

Dinner:  Jet's super special pizza

And WAY too much of it.  Way to go out with a bang you dodo.

Exercise:  Nope, slept in (which will undoubtedly screw up my schedule further) and wasn't going out in the snowy slippery conditions this morning.  Knew that yesterday.  May be able to get some movement in around the house but I do need to do office work today so maybe not.

Let's Get New

Saturday, January 1, 2022

Happy New Year.  As expected, I did not make it midnight.  Didn't try.  I was perfectly happy to go to bed.  Did get in my traditional pizza and bubbly though.

I am ready to get back on track.  Got a little bit of a head start this morning, as I managed to get up at the right usual time and get myself out the door to walk ... though it did take a good 20 plus minutes longer than it should have to motivate.  Oh well, it's Saturday.  I was surprised to encounter more urban deer (3) than people out getting started on their resolutions (1).  It was a perfect morning for exercise, right around 32F with no wind.

Ended up a few pounds for December, no surprise given what I've put on the last 10 days.  Hoping much of it will disappear quickly once sanity returns to my eating.

Breakfast:  Marble cornbread scramble, redskin potatoes, coffee

Lived it up and went out.  Always good.

Also:  Donuts and a glass of whole milk

I was going to make cinnamon rolls but too lazy.

Lunch:  Five Guys cheeseburger all the way plus jala, little fries w ketchup

Another quasi-tradition.  Much busier than the last time I did it on NYD, must be fewer diet resolutions this year.

Dinner:  Ham, scalloped potatoes, corn, rolls w butter, pecan pie w vanilla ice cream

Another traditional meal, and while it was good I'd never do it myself, way too many carbs.

Exercise:  Walk, 1.8 miles, about 40 minutes.  Didn't time it exactly, but did get back a couple minutes earlier than I would have guessed.  Really good pace for the first mile, the last hill did get me a little.  Also quite active around the house so far today, getting up and down, hauling laundry, you name it.
