Totally thrown off this morning for some reason.  Got up a bit later than usual, managed to make it through the routine (I think) but blanked on getting on the scale.  Not a big deal in the slightest but it did give me a jolt when I noticed that I had missed doing it!

Lunch:  Ham, swiss cheese, polish dill spear, croissaint w butter, Fage cherry TruBlend yogurt


Stock standard.  One more day before vacation which will of course involve bad eating.

Dinner:  Donkey chips and guac, ribeye steak, Haagen Dazs chocolate ice cream


Exercise:  Nope, rest day before six straight days of golf.

Today is off to a weird start.  Laundy isn't available so I'm off my routine.  

Breakfast:  Breakfast tacos, coffee


Commercial tortillas today, they were OK.  Someday I want to try a really, truly great tortilla.

Lunch:  2x McDouble minus ketchup.  Donkey chips and jalapeno verde salsa

Dinner:  Ham salami and cheese sub, garlic cheese bread, rice krispie treat, 12 oz Miller Lite

Exercise:  18 holes with cart, not that much walking, pedometer said just over 4 miles.

When you eat bad stuff, you tend to want to keep eating.  Definitely had that happen today.

Breakfast:  Breakfast tacos, coffee


Lunch:  2x Whopper, spicy nuggets, 12 oz Miller Lite

Dinner:  Same, except no beer

Lunch and dinner were way too close together, it was more like first early dinner and second early dinner.  As a result I was incredibly stuffed and didn't eat anything the last six-ish hours I was awake and was never tempted.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart.  Plus trip to grocery store, pedometer gave me 7 miles.

Another day, another make it to the office around 6:00 am effort.  Not a fan.

Lunch:  Ruben, grilled cheese, cup of tomato basil soup

Got delivery from a local sandwich place.  Not the greatest corned beef, but still a tasty meal.  I do like me some tomato basil soup.  No photo, bolted it down.

Dinner:  Homemade tacos w cheese, sour cream, salsa and hot sauce, 3 strips bacon, rye bread and butter, 24 oz All Day IPA



Eat, unwind, crash, rinse, repeat.

Ahh, a Sunday morning with hot coffee, some breakfast tacos and the Tour de France.  Pretty swell.  Of course it would be even better without the nagging feeling of doom related to having a ton of work on deadline, but c'est la vie.

Breakfast:  Breakfast tacos w 2 eggs, cheese, salsa, sour cream, 3 strips bacon.  Coffee


Always good.  Will probably clean up the chips and dip too.

The price for last night's pizza wasn't quite as steep, though it still happened.  Not too many regrets, though I need to buckle down.  That didn't happen today.

Breakfast:  2 eggs scrambled with cheese, salsa and sour cream, buttermilk bread w butter, 4 strips Meijer thick cut bacon, coffee

Good stuff.

Lunch:  2x CFA spicy chicken sandwiches, frosted lemonade.  Later, Boulder Creek coconut oil chips and onion dip

No photo, ate in car and forgot to take one.

Dinner:  Tacos w/ cheese, salsa and sour cream, 24 oz All Day IPA

Finally made taco meat and tortillas.  Not my greatest effort on either but still tasty.

Exercise:  9 holes with cart before the rain, some walking.  With the trip to the grocery store the pedometer said a bit more than 4.5 miles.

The trend of waking up early continues, as I was awake at 5:00.  Didn't get up immediately and when I did ... I didn't do anything.  Wasn't quite as fatigued or sleepy as other mornings but still didn't feel like doing anything.  Just thought about work.  Stress.

Lunch:  Ham, swiss cheese, polish dill spears, Greek Gods plain yogurt with added honey, homemade buttermilk wheat bread with butter


Standard.  Tried adding some honey to the plain yogurt since I've gotten used to the trublend stuff.

Snack:  CFA spicy chicken sandwich, frosted lemonade

Dinner:  Domino's pepperoni, ham and mushroom pizza, brownie with Rebel vanilla ice cream



Massive meltdown.  They gave me a brownie.  I, like the idiot I am, ate it.

Ugh.  I'm not hugely surprised to pay a price for last night's pizza, but I admit that I had hopes that sufficient walking had been done to minimize the pain.  Fail.  I don't feel super bloated today (though I did have a bit of leg swelling) but still, the scale was not good news.  Also disappointing to be tired this morning after I went to bed by 9, asleep by 10.

Lunch:  Ham, swiss cheese, polish dill spears, croissaint with butter, Fage cherry TruBlend yogurt

Super standard.

Dinner:  4 ground beef tacos, mexican style, add salsa, sour cream and hot sauce, 3 strips Meijer thick cut bacon, 2 slices of homemade buttermilk bread w butter and mozz cheese, strawberries w vanilla Rebel ice cream



Messy but tasty.  Took too long for satiety to kick in tho.

Exercise:  Nope, golf was rained out.

Tried a new place, part of a mexican grocery in a small town, was pretty good.

Dinner:  Homemade pizza, pepperoni and extra cheese.  Pineapple.


Good stuff.  Way more cheese than usual.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart, modest extra walking.  Pedometer gave me credit for 5.75 miles.

Didn't get to bed quite as early as I should have last night, still woke up at 4:30.  Managed another hour almost but it wasn't of much benefit.  Tired as a result and it lingered.  Better eating would have probably helped too.

Breakfast:  2 eggs over hard with salsa and hot sauce, 4 strips Meijer thick cut bacon, croissaint with butter, coffee


Good stuff as always.  I also cleaned up the chips and onion dip from last night.

Lunch:  2 McDoubles minus ketchup

Dinner:  Taco salad with al pastor pork, 24 oz Miller Lite, pineapple



One of the smaller taco salads I've had, but it was good.  Remembered that I had this can of pineapple for a project that never came off.  I like pineapple.  It was a nice treat.

Exercise:  18 holes, decent extra walking though the pedometer only said a little over 5 miles.

Okay, so there was that.  Not a great finish to the week.  Today was at hair better.  Got up at 5:00 and felt okay.  Got in some exercise and fresh air.  Eating was questionable.

Breakfast:  Croissaint with taco meat/cheese/sour cream/salsa.  Coffee.


I had visions of a croissaint sandwich, the croissaint had other ideas.  Still quite good.

Lunch:  2 double cheeseburgers


From a local place.  "lunch" at 4:30, lol.

Dinner:  2x Taco Bell beef burritos, Boulder Creek potato chips with onion dip


The chips are fried in coconut oil.  I'd like to find some fried in lard but this will have to do for now.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart, not much walking, trip to store.  Pedometer said 6+ miles.

Sigh.

Was up this morning.  Expected.  Accepted.  And then this evening I never hit satiety.  Not one bit.  I'm now kinda uncomfortable due to what I ate but no satiety.  Which is really, really annoying.  I'll probably be up three pounds tomorrow and I earned every bit of it.  Honestly, if I'd known I was going to melt down tonight I would have at least had a pizza.

Lunch:   Homemade buttermilk wheat bread with butter, ham, extra sharp cheddar, polish dill spear, Greek Gods plain yogurt


Mostly standard.  Bread was half a mini loaf.  I would rate it as some of the best bread I've ever made.

Dinner:  Culvers mushroom swiss burger, bread with butter, bread with butter and mozzarella cheese,  green olives, Rebel coconut almond swirl keto ice cream




Good lord.  I have no idea how I forgot to take a pic of the three slices of bread with mozz cheese.  And I had more ice cream than that.   Ugh!

Another non-gain, wow!  I was sure after eating so much bread yesterday that I'd be up at least a pound.  Yay.

Lunch:  Extra sharp cheddar, potato salad, polish dill spears, rye bread w butter

Deviation.  Finished the potato salad.

Dinner:  3 eggs over medium, hash browns with lots of cheese, sour cream, salsa.  24 oz All Day IPA.  Probably will have a slice of rye bread w butter too

Didn't have anything thawed so I ended up with this.  Good, though it was pushing the line of too much cheese (!!).

I did not expect good things out of yesterday, so I was pleasantly surprised not to have gained.  Figured I would with all the bread and other carby stuff I ate.  Probably didn't hurt that I was in bed just after 9:00 and got a reasonable amount of sleep.

Lunch:  Ham, extra sharp cheddar, homemade rye bread with butter, cherry Fage TruBlend yogurt, polish dill spears

Standard.  A bit heavy on the bread.  Was quite full.

Dinner:  Meatball grinder, 12 oz Miller Lite

I could have been okay with the half size, realized that while eating.  Darned stomach, it mislead me.  No pre-golf snack.
