Frozen biscuits since my scale batteries died AGAIN.

Lunch:   4 mexican style tacos with cheese, 12 oz Miller Lite

Dinner:  Hot dogs, chips, blueberries and bananas, salad with ranch, 12 oz Miller Lite

Also:  Ice cream sandwiches.  BLECH.

Back off the sugar.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart, also some walking around.

I find myself thinking this evening that I may be losing my taste for salty junk food.  I haven't been real inspired by the snack food I've had lately, even stuff like Lays chips I've been satiated easily.  I haven't gone to the store to stock up.  I still eat lots of junk, of course, but it's not the straight starch as often/as much.

Breakfat:  McD sausage biscuit, coffee

That typo still cracks me up.

Lunch:  Chicken bacon ranch wrap, a few fries

Fries really are just a way to eat lots of ketchup.  And since I'm not eating ketchup except in trace amounts...

Dinner:  Culvers double deluxe with bacon, 12 oz All Day IPA, 2.5 oz bag of Uncle Rays' white cheddar popcorn.

Meh.  Very good burger.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart plus about an hour of yard work.

Not a bad day.  Yeah, I know, almost no vegetation.

Phew, made it to the weekend.  Massive amounts of work and stuff that I need to do, but without quite as much clock pressure.  Slept in just a little this morning and taking it pretty easy.  Which is a polite way of saying I'm being a lazy ****ing bum.  Time to kick it up a few notches.

Breakfast:  2 Aunt Millie's sourdough english muffins with Kraft veggie cream cheese

This was like eating nothingness.  Didn't feel any different after eating.  Will be quite hungry come lunch.

Lunch:  Al pastor pork burrito, chips and salsa

Also:  Can of Chunky country beef and vegetables soup

Blah.  I used to like this.  Now it just tastes chemical-y.

Dinner:  Pizza Hut hand tossed pepperoni pizza, breadsticks.

Um, yuck.  Need to not do that again.

Exercise:  Nope.

It was a good salad and I enjoyed it, but it was $9.00.  That seems like a lot for a bunch of lettuce, a tomato, some lunch meat, an egg and some dressing.  But I'm probably just cheap.

Local place, really has good chicago style eats.

Dinner:  2 eggs, 5 strips Meijer bacon, store brand hash browns

I wouldn't say EPIC FAIL or anything, but ... yeah.


Yeah, fail.  I got the bacon right for once (I usually overcook it) but the eggs, while beautiful, were overdone.  Past medium all the way to hard when I like them just on the easy side.  Fail.  Oh well, it was still edible.  Didn't quite finish as I made too many hash browns.  I like the Alexia kind much much more and will be stocking up next time I go to Meijer.

Also:  12 oz Bells Oatsmobile Ale

Exercise:  Nope.  Really feeling the fatness today too.  It's bad.

Happy May.  Super sluggish this morning, tried to sleep in but it wasn't really effective.  Some aches and pains last night, a sign that I haven't been doing things right.

Breakfast:  2 eggs fried in a bit of butter, 5 strips Meijer bacon, Alexia hash browns in butter, coffee

The old standby.  Generous portions today, since it's late and lunch will probably be a drive thru burrito.

Snack:  Cheddar cheese pretzel Combos, 12 oz Bells Oatsmobile Ale

Dinner:  Sub sandwich (ham, turkey, salami, cheese, mayo), potato salad, a handful of chips, a couple baby carrots with ranch and about six grapes.  Party food.

Exercise:  Nope.

It could have been worse.  But it also could have been much better.  Sheesh.
